"Not her fault,"? Alpha Xavier sneered at him.

"She killed my mate," Alpha Xavier took a step towards her but Alpha Kevin blocked his path.

"She didn't do anything, it was an accident," Alpha Kevin said.

"It wasn't an accident. She left my mate there to die," Alpha Xavier growled. He changed into his wolf and ran from there. He ran towards the river and quickly changed into his human form. He desperately looked around but Ava was nowhere.

"Love," he yelled but only his sound resonated in the calm forest. He quickly jumped into the sea and searched from one end to another but, she was nowhere. Alpha Xavier slumped on the ground as a lone tear escaped his eyes. For the first time, he was feeling something that he doesn't want to feel again... Fear and longlines. He sucked on his breath as a sob racked through his body. Indeed, we didn't what someone mean to us until they are gone. Suddenly, everything he put her into, flashed before his eyes. He broke her to her soul and yet she loved him with every fiber of her broken being. Her eyes, the day she saw him kissing Jessica knowing they are mates. Her eyes haunted him every night. He wanted nothing more than to rewind the time, and just be with her, to hear her non-stop bickering, and to gaze at her beautiful face, which gets red every time he calls her... Love.

Alpha Xavier felt like his soul has left his body. His mind felt like an extrinsic acreage. He looked at the sky, as tears were raining from his eyes. 

"AVA," he screamed.
