Prologue. The past of our hero.

SCREAMS FILLED THE NIGHT AIR.
The raven haired women ran as fast as she could from the monsters that were killing and chasing the people knew and loved. On this night of the full blooded moon chaos reigned supreme. The enemy had finally come to kill the raven haired woman’s child. That child was born into a cursed and cruel world.
“Kuku… Woman… We want the child you are so desperately trying to hide from us.” The horrible monster purred. His voice was borderline close to sounding like a purring wolf with blood lust perfectly clear in its accursed voice.
“I’ll let you live if you hand over the child” It said. The woman sat high in a tree hoping the gods to protect her and the child from this malevolent beast, who was obviously lying to her. These creatures had no mercy in there almost non-existent souls.
“You lying beasts! I know full well what you plan to do to him and –“Dammit the beast had tricked her into revealing her location! The beast looked up and smiled an evil blood coated fanged grin. It howled into the night air alerting his brethren he had located the woman and child.
“Come down woman and give me the child!!” It roared. It jumped to an impossible height and reached for her and the child. The woman jumped into the next tree, tree hopping away from the shocked beast.
“This woman is not normal. She must be one of us or something else, “Thought the beast. “She was faster and stronger than the normal human. She should have worn herself out by now. Carrying a child and a small pack crusted in dried blood should ware any woman who had just recently given birth should be on her knees panting from exhaustion. She’s not human. She is something else. This is going to be a fun hunt”. The beast thought with a maniacal grin growing on his face.
Now the beast was just playing with the scared woman. When he got too close he purposely slow down and let her think she could get away and then suddenly speeding up. It was fun seeing her struggle to run with the child he and his brothers sought after. The woman was trying to reach the underground escape chambers that would allow her to save her child. There! The river where the chambers were located she had made it without any harm coming to her child. She quickly jumped from the trees and rushed to the river. The beast was curious about why she stopped running only to see her fall to the ground and start to look for something. It watched as she scrabbled on the ground looking for something that, by the look of her anxious face, was important.
After a minute of searching the woman found what she was looking for. A small indention in the ground that would save her child. She pushed the indention further into the ground to reveal an amulet of a blood red color. It was shaped like a fang. But was in fact a ruby shaped fang with a smaller fang in its center. She placed the amulet around the child’s neck a started to chant.
“Travel, with safety, through the Land of the Wind and be placed somewhere safe.” Suddenly a strong wind came and surrounded the child. The beast had realized what the woman was doing and decide to step in. but he was too late.
The wind spell carried the little, newborn boy away.
“You little bitch! Now you will die at our hands!” The beast roared before seeking his fangs into the woman’s jugular.

Mysteries Arise From The Mist

”Get up! You lazy brat!” Roared my idiotic foster father. Geez…my life sucks. I sat up and turned to look at the clock. 6:35 a.m. Yippy…I get to go to that hellhole called high school. Yippee.
Anyways, my name is Wolfric Silber Der Jager. That’s German for Wolfric silver the hunter. What a funny fucking name. Huh? Wonder who came up with that weird ass name. Anyway, I’m gonna stop complaining for now and get and get ready for Hell High School. I walked around my dirty and really empty white walled room rummaging through piles of clean and dirty clothes foe school. Thank god Hell High Academy does not have a uniform or I would be half way on the other side of the planet by now. Anyway the only things in my room are a desk and a bed with black coverings. My foster parents don’t like freedom of expression, especially since I’m already such a screw-up in their eyes.
I found a pair of plain blue jeans and a black t-shirt of a black wolf with what looks like red fire or smoke surrounding it. I used a black and silver studded belt to keep my jeans from falling. Although that still didn’t help from the jeans from sitting low on my waist. I put on my favorite black wristband portraying the face of a snarling wolf that says “I’m fucking ferocious”. I went to the bathroom and fixed my freaky hair. Unfortunately, it never stays tamed. It just sticks up everywhere like that Ichigo Kurosaki guy off that popular anime Bleach. Except my hair is black as the night sky with, and I shit you not, a natural blood red streak on the left side. It really looks like blood. I’ve had people ask if I was bleeding before. It’s that red. Oh! Did I mention it was long and fashioned to look like I had a rattail coming out of my head? The rest is short while the “Tail”, as I fondly call it, is long enough to reach to the top of my ass. The rest of my sat up in a messy spiked kind of way. I repeat just like that Ichigo off of Bleach. Last but not least, I strapped on my spiked dog collar. For some reason I’ve always had a weird fascination with dog collars. I then put on my birth mothers medallion. It was a blood red color and was shaped like a wolf fang that I think was made of ruby. It had a smaller fang in its center.
I never knew who my birth parents were. I never really cared before. I really don’t much about anything really. Being bounced around foster homes with not one kind person in any of them you learn not to show emotion. Being emotionless keeps you from getting beat most of the time. I learned that the hard way. No one has ever seen me truly smile. An old friend named Marcus said it was a site to truly see. Marcus was the only one who ever saw me truly smile. Anyway, I have to get a move on to school. Now, how do sneak past the most likely stoned and drunk foster family.
I snuck down the stain covered hallway. I don’t even want to know what those stains are. As I’m walking down the stairs I hear my foster father start yelling at his wife, my foster mother, about how stupid and useless she is. She is yelling right back at him about how it’s his fault for not helping out when she needs it. Great…It’s gonna be a long day. My foster mother is Sarah Jackalson and my foster father is Johansen Jackalson. At the bottom of the stairs I peeked around the corner to see where they were and what course of action I was definitely gonna need. They were both standing in front of each other with the coffee table between them. Sarah, or the Whore as I fondly call her, was a short blonde woman with more makeup on than she has smarts. She was dressed in her customary canary yellow dress that reached her knees. I suck at fashion but I can tell you that has never been in fashion. Johansen, or fat ass, was in his usual white beer and blood stain t-shirt and tannish cargo shorts. Good. They were so far gone into the argument they wouldn’t noticed me sneak right by them to the front door. I’d go out the back door except there isn’t one. I stayed low to the ground and tiptoed right behind fat ass as quietly as possible, which is pretty damn quiet. I can sneak past or behind anyone or anything like a flipping ninja. It’s handy for situations like this. Right when I open the front door a crack Sarah and Johansen whirled and stared running at me screaming at how I ruined a family moment. I took off just barley having enough time to grab my black and red sneakers. I ran straight into the morning misty fog. Damn, I forgot my coat.
I slipped my shoes once deemed it safe enough to stop running. After my shoes were firmly laced I looked around and could barely see five feet in front me. I walked in the direction I thought the school was in. After about ten minutes I got the feeling that something or someone was following me. Whatever they were doing they would have attacked by now. Let me clarify the attack part. I’m probably one of the most hated and shunned person at that damn academy. The life of a freak. What to do? Why aren’t they attacking? They are just watching me. It’s pretty annoying.
“Oi! I know your there! So just come out already. It’s fucking annoying. “I called out. A giggle. A fucking giggle was all I got out of them. Fuck this. I walked for another twenty minutes was that irritating giggle and the feeling of being watched and most definitely followed. I wonder why they don’t attack. Why do they just follow me? What do they want? And will that stupid moron stop fucking giggling?!
