Meanwhile, Aaron watched as Shadow Wolf disappeared, appearing from his shadow. The metahuman giggled as he swung at him. Aaron turned around and swiped at him, but he disappeared. He appeared behind him again and punched him in the back where he had hit the wall in the Asura headquarters. His back arched as Aaron took the brunt of the attack, turning to swing at him but seeing him disappear.
“Turn the lights on!” Aaron shouted. Ty heard him, nodding. He dug into his pocket and grabbed a remote. He switched on the lights to full illumination. The floodlights turned out, shining brightly down upon everybody. Aaron’s shadow shortened. Even so, Shadow Wolf tried to hit him a third time, but Aaron spun on his heels too quickly and grabbed his face.
“You little bastard thought you could escape me,” Aaron grumbled before picking him higher into the air and then smashing him against the cement. His head did the same action as Rabbit.
“W-Wait I ha-have dreams too!” Shadow Wolf, who was a male kid, shouted.
“I had dreams too, but Asura Industries took them from me.” He smirked before raising the katana high into the air and slicing downward. He cut Shadow Wolf’s head in half, blood spurting out of the wound.
Then, he turned to face Turbine. Turbine, a large six-foot bulky man, roared before charging towards Aaron. Aaron didn’t have the energy to roar, but enough to pick up the pace. However, before they clashed, Turbine used his power. He smirked as he stopped in his tracks, opening his mouth and inhaling. His inhale continued, focused on Aaron.
What an idiot, what can he do? He then felt sickly as he realized a sharp pain was nicking at his lungs. Turbine was taking away his oxygen. His body crumbled to the ground, forcing him to gasp for air. He went into a fetal position, sucking at the air.
Turbine continued sucking in air, erasing the oxygen from Aaron and even taking the air inside him. He was running him dry and soon he’ll be braindead or dead in general.
Ty stood in the console, hearing bullets flying at him. The military men fired at him, but never at Aaron.
“Damn,” He muttered as he caught a glance of Shadow Wolf’s death. He then saw Turbine stopping his attacks and rushing at him before stopping. Aaron then collapsed, his body crumbling into a ball.
A pistol was sitting on the console. Ty grabbed it, checking the magazine. Loaded as he thought. He had experienced many threats ranging from terrorists to plane jacking - the pistol always came in handy.
He turned around and rushed to the door, opening it enough to shoot out but not be easily noticeable to the military men. He pushed the barrel out of the door, gaining a shot on Turbine. His hands shook and he tried his best to steady them. I’ve killed before. My hands aren’t clean. One more won’t affect my consciousness any more than it is. He pressed the trigger several times, not looking at where they hit.
He turned away, hearing a body hit the ground and then Aaron began wheezing, each one sounding more and more painful.
“Grab him, keep the other in the plane. Detonate it.” He heard Thermal order.
He turned around and sprinted back to the console, kicking the place into action. The engine spurted before pushing the plane forward.
“He’s escaping, shoot the plane down!” He heard somebody shout before going down the runway. Some of the military men chased after, but with no speedsters to keep up with Cupid, all efforts were a waste. Even so, they now had Aaron.
I’m sorry Aaron. I will come back for you when I can. Be strong, I’ll get you out. He thought. He looked out of the console and at the night sky. It was strangely beautiful.

Episode Forty Two "The Hunter S1 E5 - Luck"Hello All!
The following episode may be confusing at first. To avoid any confusion, I will quickly explain the episode’s structure. The first section takes place while Thermal and the other metahumans are heading towards Ty’s airfield.
The second section backtracks even further - tens of minutes after Aaron escapes the building. New metahumans are brought into the rift, explained in greater detail than during their first appearance.
The last section then takes place after episode four’s conclusion and sees the wounded Aaron brought back to the headquarters.
I understood this would be confusing as the episode jumps around in the season’s timeline a bit, but I hope that this short explanation is enough.
The following statement is the order of the sections in reference to the timeline; Second Section, First Section, Third Section.
Orville stood next to the rift, pressing his face against the Containment Walls. His red and blue veins popped out. The longer he stood by the rift, the redder and bluer he got. His skin was being affected by the rift’s radiation, sweat running down his body. His body was rejecting the radiation, but it slowly crept inside him.
“Sir?” Barry stepped forward. Orville glanced at him, glaring. He was irritated.
“What?” He snarled.
“Task Force Rift and the metahumans are on their way to Stars Airfield. They’ll be confronting the targets soon.”
“What have you found about either of them?” Orville asked, taking his attention away from the rift and towards Barry.
“Aaron was one of the experiments in Maximum Security. He escaped during the 2nd Prison Break. He was one of the few survivors after the cleansing.”
“Ha!” Orville shouted. He motioned for a nearby scientist holding a tower to hand it over. The scientist gave the towel to Orville, who quickly wiped himself off. “2nd Prison Break? Wasn’t that two years ago? It took him two years to return?”
“We’re not sure what happened during those two years, but he arrived yesterday and met with his old friend Ty Kooris. Kooris created Stars Airfield four years ago and bought numerous objects from us, including our medicine.”
Orville looked at him strangely. “Stop all transactions between Stars Airfield and us. We cannot be funding our enemy.”
“I’ve already done so, sir. All current transactions have been canceled and we will refuse any attempts to buy our products.” Berry said.
“Good, now monitor Task Force Rift and the metahumans. If they don’t listen to our orders, execute them.” Barry nodded and walked off.
Orville pressed his face against the Containment Walls, enough distance away to prevent being sucked in, but enough to bask in the radiation.
He smiled to himself. “I will become the king. The president will bow to me.”

“New metahumans?” Orville asked, sometime later. He glanced at Thermal as he brought in three new metahumans.
“Yes, sir.” He pointed at the first one, a thin girl wearing a black latex suit. “This is Rabbit. She’s a speedster like… Well, she’s a speedster.”
Orville nodded, glancing off to the side as men dressed in black military armor appeared. The metallic armor shined in the completely white room. He motioned for them to come closer.
“And?” He asked.
“I am Turbine, a wind metahuman.” Turbine, a large man, stated.
Orville chuckled softly. “So what? You could move the wind around?”
Turbine looked at him, irritated. “I can manipulate the element of wind. I can also steal somebody’s oxygen if needed.”
Orville’s eyebrows went up. “Show me proof.”
Turbine’s eyebrows furrowed. “You want me… to show you proof? You do realize I could make someone brain dead if I mess up?”
Orville shrugged his shoulders. “Okay, I said I want proof. Show me it.” Turbine glanced at Thermal, who sheepishly looked away, before focusing on a female scientist in front of him. Her eyes widened as she realized what was going to occur, trying to turn around. However, Barry and another scientist grabbed a hold of her and pointed her head at Turbine.
She tried to squirm her way out, but she was fastened tightly into her spot. She closed her eyes as Turbine began. He opened his mouth, inhaling air. He sucked up the air from the female’s surroundings, making Berry and the other scientist sickly, before taking the oxygen from her lungs. She gasped as she collapsed to the ground.
Barry backed far away, using his arm to push him backward. He watched as Turbine took all of the female’s oxygen, watching her die on the spot.
“Oh, sorry, I went overboard and killed her.” He nonchalantly said, almost as if he was used to killing.
“Bravo!” Orville clapped like a wealthy person, small claps that repeated the same small sound. “Get rid of her corpse.” He told the scientist next to Barry, the same one that helped hold her in place. The scientist was trembling, but still nodded and got to his feet. Barry jumped up next to him, helping to carry the corpse away. No blood had been exhaled, all remaining inside her.
“Now, what about the third one?” Orville questioned. The young male kid was gone. He had… disappeared.
“Behind you.” The kid joked. Four men took long strides towards the kid, drawing their guns.
“Invisibility? Speed? What do you have?” Orville calmly asked.
“Neither, I can teleport via shadows. As long as there’s some type of darkness, I can use it to move around in.” He blurted out, frightened of the guns pointed at him. Orville waved off the men before nodding his head to strike an order.
Men charged towards the metahumans, throwing collars on them. They were all caught off-guard, not expecting to be enslaved.
Thermal grabbed at the collar, trying to burn it.
“You can keep trying it, but it won’t work. While working on gloves that you couldn’t burn, we designed these collars. Fortunately, we had some prototypes that only needed a few tweaks to become perfect.” He declared. “Starting today...” One of the men grabbed Shadow Wolf, lining him with the others. Orville turned away from the metahumans, thinking to himself before turning around. “... you’ll be working for me.”

“How did a wounded man defeat three metahumans?” Orville asked Thermal, who had returned with the Time Task Force and Aaron. “Two men killed half of the Time Task Force and three metahumans? How?”
“We underestimated him and his friend. I didn’t expect him to be back in action so soon.”
Orville raised his hand. Thermal cringed as the downward swing smacked him across his face. “Get more metahumans now!” He growled. “I expect at least four of them today.” Thermal’s eyes were saddened as he imagined four of his comrades being slaughtered by the cruel man standing in front of him. It was enough to spill a tear.
Orville ignored him, kicking him towards the rift. Thermal took a few steps towards the rift, but stopped, glancing around at the scientists around him. They all turned away like he was a monster. He felt disgusted. He entered the rift, disappearing through it.
Orville turned away from the rift. “Have men stationed here to deal with the new metahumans? Also, make sure he doesn’t spill anything about the collar. We don’t want them to arrive guns blazing.” He ordered Berry. Berry nodded, approaching the
