Orville extended his palms, pointing them at Aaron. However, Aaron sliced off his hands before he could spew out his liquid fire. He began shouting, blood pouring out of his stumps. “Ahhh! Ahhh! You sliced my hands off! Whhhy!” He shrieked.
Aaron stood in front of Orville. “Goodnight.” He muttered, the katana raised above him. He swung downward, his eyes wide open as the katana broke against his skull. Shards of the blade were embedded into Orville’s skull, killing him. The main figure in Asura Industries was dead. He was finally dead.
“Good to see you in high spirits, Aaron,” Kojii remarked. “Oh, and you were telling the truth about your friend. If you want, I’ll take him in and train him.”
Aaron nodded. “Do it. Let’s make it quick. The world will end in two years.”
“Are you sure?” Kojii asked.
“The world will end?” Ty asked, still on his knees.
Aaron turned to face them. “In two years, the world will end. I’m on my way to stop it. Are you with me?”
Ty violently nodded. “I’m a domestic terrorist now, so why not.”
Kojii simply nodded. “They're called the Cyloks, correct?”
Aaron nodded. “He said they will try to take over. If they succeed, humanity will be erased. Let’s not let that happen.” They nodded their heads. It was a race against time.
Hello All!
The Hunters S1 has been a great project to write. This is the first official original for Multiverse: Collection and it turned out better than expected. I never expected this series to be this graphic with some of the kills. And as a fun fact, they get more gruesome as time passes because I wanted to keep upping every kill and not make them repeat too much.
Anyways, to answer some questions, this takes place in the Extended Challenger Universe and is a part of the first phase. This is also a limited series, so there aren’t any plans on a second season or a short-story continuation. However, the characters introduced here will reappear in other series such as Element, The Insurgents, or other series in the universe.
Thank you for reading this series. Next Multiverse: Collection episode will be a remaster of Creation S1 and the next original will be announced on Jayhawk Alert 2021 (Second Half) on Scrapped (which you can find on Bookrix.com; type in Scrapped and it will show up).
Episode Forty Six "Creation S1 E7 - LRC / Venom Spider"“This is the Night Cat Inn,” Brooklyn told him, pointing at a normal-looking inn with a large sign reading the name of the inn. A picture of a black cat hovered over the main entrance.
“Thanks.” He said.
Brooklyn nodded. “I have to go, but if you need anything, contact me.”
“Contact you, how?” Ex asked.
She stared at him strangely. “With your LRC. What else?”
“LRC?”
She jerked her head back, almost surprised to hear what he was saying. She pulled out two pieces of metal-shaped rectangular, handing Ex one. “It’s a Long Range Communicator. I had an extra one on me, so take it.” Ex nodded, grabbing the rectangle and raising it to his face to inspect it. The metal looked nothing spectacular - only being a long sheet.
“Do you know how to use it?” Brooklyn questioned, tilting her head.
Ex shook his head. “I have no idea. I haven’t had one of these before.” He said, telling the honest truth.
Brooklyn squinted at him. “You never use it. Wow!” She raised her LRC. She pressed down on the metal, Ex watching with amazement as the metal changed form to resemble a large walkie-talkie; it used magic to morph.
“They made the LRC rectangular-shaped because it’s compact.” She threw the walkie-talkie up and caught it in her hand. “This weighs a few pounds compared to the original form’s few ounces.”
She pressed a large red button on the bottom of the LRC and it brought up a hologram screen of contacts. She asked for Ex’s LRC, inputting him into her contacts. “It was new, so I didn’t have it in my contacts yet.” She said before inputting her contact into his LRC. “Anddd there you go.” She handed the LRC back to him.
“Now I have your contact?” Ex asked.
Brooklyn nodded. “Yup, so contact me if you need anything.” She turned around, looking over her shoulder. “I’ll see you again!” She shouted before running off.
Ex waved bye at her before heading into the inn. There he was met with Torina, the owner of the inn; a small and frail-looking elderly lady. “How can I help you?” She asked, standing in front of the receptionist’s desk. A young lady stood behind her, busy scribbling something into a piece of leather paper.
“I’m looking for a room.”
“A room?” Torina asked. “Any rooms available?” She asked the young lady, still facing Ex.
“Room… Room 4 is open.” The lady responded. “Want me to take him up?”
“Well, first… I need payment.” Torina glanced down at Max, staring at him.
Ex dug through his pockets and pulled out a few silver coins. He had gotten them from his time at the village. He handed the silvers over, being directed to room 4. It was a small bedroom with one bed and a small kitchen.
He thanked Torina, who had led him to his room, before closing the door. He turned around and faced Max, who was busy sniffing around the room. “Stop that Max.” He said before approaching the bed. He sat down on the bed, digging through his pockets. Most of the money he had gotten was used to rent out the room. He needed more money to survive.
“Want to do a quest?” Ex asked. Max barked as if to say, let’s do a quest!. Ex chuckled softly, nodding. He threw down what belongings he didn’t want to take before beckoning for Max to follow.
He went down the stairs of the inn and exited the building, heading to the guild. Upon entering, the receptionist, Berry, welcomed him. “Have you registered before? She asked.
Ex shook his head. “No, this is my first time”
Berry nodded. “Okay, I’ll make you your guild card. This card will act as your identification card and will serve to identify you after your death. You will start at rank F and can work up the ladder to rank S. To the side of me is the Quest Board. Pick a quest according to your rank or one level above it. You cannot pick quests two ranks above you.” She intertwined her tan fingers and laid them on the wooden desk. “Now, any questions?”
Ex shook his head. “No, thanks.” He shuffled over to the Quest Board, scanning it for rank F or E quests. He found a simple one, reading it out loud. “Kill three Venom Spiders.”
It was a rank E quest, but Ex was sure of his ability. He had Max by his side, anyway.
He took the quest and headed out, taking Max along with him. They reached a small den of rank E Venom Spiders rather quickly as it wasn’t far out of town. The only problem when facing these spiders was their venom. Otherwise, there were beasts weaker than wolves.
Max attacked first, jumping forward before Ex could assist him. Max revealed his sharp teeth, snapping at one of the spiders.
Ex whistled, getting Max’s attention. He beckoned Max back. That poison won’t kill me, but what about Max? This venom must’ve been created to deal with strong beasts.
He summoned his Creation: Light skill, throwing clumps of light towards the spiders. He hadn’t mastered his ability, unable to form weapons out of his skills. All he could do was throw small balls of light at the spiders, which damaged them as his light skill worked well against beasts made out of the darkness.
It consumed them quickly and efficiently. He used most of his mana pool to destroy four spiders, now retreating with his spoils - four spider legs. This is annoying, he thought as he left the small den he found himself in, why is my mana pool so small? I can barely destroy four spiders, how do I expect to kill any strong beast?
Max followed by his side, the waft of the spiders’ poison entering his nose. He shook his head, sneezing out some of the poison. However, a small amount found its way into him.
Sometime later, after escaping the den and returning to town, Ex turned the quest in, cashing in the spider legs. He received a few silvers, the same amount he had given Torina. Those damn villagers. They underpaid me for my work. He thought for a few seconds before discarding that thought. He turned away from the guild and headed to the inn. His man was low and he was suffering because of it.
Upon entering the inn, he went up to his bed and collapsed. He had wasted most of his mana against Teo with the remainder being exhausted by the spiders. However, now it was time for him to recover.
The next morning, Ex woke up to see Max’s fur now green and black instead of its usual white and black. “Uh... Max? Did you paint your fur?” He asked, confused at the sudden color change.
Max tilted his head, staring at him. His tail was wagging, almost acting as if everything was normal. It wasn’t.
“Well, I didn’t expect this.”

Episode Forty Seven "The Era of Witches S1 E4 - Forest" [BONUS #1]It was Kat who called out to him. However, she wasn't by herself. Roman and Liliana stood by her side, both looking determined. Roman wielded a sword while Liliana carried a short spear.
“Can we join?” Kat asked. She motioned to Roman and Liliana.
Askel stared at the trio, hesitating. These idiots don’t understand the dangers outside, but… she told me to never underestimate people. Especially those close to me.
“Can you all defend yourself? This will not be a picnic. We’re going to the forest where death is said to linger.” Aksel told them. He wielded his sword - nicknamed Cyrus, the Sword of Hope. He kept the weapon close to his hip. “You can only leave if you, at the very least, can protect yourself.”
Kat nodded. She brandished a small knife, given to her by Roman. “I have this knife and my powers. I’ll be able to protect myself, I’m a witch after all.” She smiled, but Aksel could see the sadness behind her smile.
I’m a witch after all? I know being a
