Rex, you’ll need to train your Heal IV skill.” She ordered. She then turned her attention towards Enix. “You have reached five percent of your power level. Once Merlin arrives, he will increase your cap to five percent.”

“I can’t use that power now?” Enix asked her.

“No, you need Merlin’s assistance to raise your cap. I unfortunately don’t have the ability to raise it.” North explained to him. Enix nodded his head.

“Wait… then what am I doing for training?”

North smirked before raising one finger pointed at the sky. “You’re in charge of training Jessica. She has two skills; Ark Light and Null: Forcefield.”

“I’m in charge of her? She’s a stubborn brat that doesn’t listen to me!” Enix exclaimed, in front of his servants.

“Yeah, but she’s a stubborn brat that you saved.” Enix opened his mouth to argue, but no words could escape. “Disperse!” She ordered. All five of them nodded their heads before rushing outside of the building and towards an open clearing, fifty meters from the town for safety purposes, which they used as their training grounds. The open clearing allowed everyone---including Jessica---to train without restrain. Rex trained by cutting himself and healing the wound; repeating this action until his mana was near-empty. Meanwhile, Milena used trees to try out her Physical Enhancement skill, which boosted her strength and speed to the stats of an adult. On the other side of Milena, Arson tested his darkness skill on lower level monsters, inflicting death with meniscal pain. He continued to train, increasing the efficiency of the deadly and hated darkness skill.

Natalie held her breath while closing one eye, staring at the makeshift target with her bow drawn. An arrow rested itself on the bow’s thin string, prepared to fly at a moment’s notice. She released her breath, a moment after releasing the arrow, allowing it to fly through the wind with a yellow outline sticking to it, piercing the middle of the target upon contact. The yellow outline was created by Natalie’s Spiritual Power skill. This skill allowed the user to contract an otherworldly force known as Spiritual Power to enhance any skill attached to the user. Fortunately, Natalie’s Archer V skill was enhanced by the Spiritual Power to allow it to fly at greater speed and strength.

The arrow cracked the makeshift target in half, earning North’s praise.

In the middle of the clearing, Enix stood by Jessica’s side and watched as she began her training after disappearing for most of the day. Jessica trained her Ark Light skill, illuminating a small sphere above her fingertip. The small sphere failed to exceed Enix’s expectations, earning her insults. Jessica began to pout, refusing to continue her training. “You’re being mean to me! I can’t create a large fireball of light” She shouted at Enix, garnering the attention of everybody in the clearing.

“It’s because you disappear for most of the day and when you do arrive, your skills are at the lowest they could be. I’m disappointed in your lack of motivation. You’re falling behind everybody”

“I don’t care what you think! You’re not my father! Just some snotty kid”

“No, you’re right. I’m not your father, but I am your owner.” He grumbled, earning the silence of everybody.

“You!” She muttered while pointing at him. Her body shook with anger, nearly displacing her balance. “You!”

“You, indeed.” remarked a tall man with black hair that was parted to both sides of his head. He wore a tuxedo, solid black pants, and shoes. His skin, however, didn’t match with his choice of clothing, instead, being a near-transparent pale color. His expression gave chills to all of the women in the clearing as he licked his lips while scanning their bodies. Enix directed his anger towards the man, firing off an arsenal of glares. The man felt the malicious intent and took a few steps backward, yelling out to a man standing behind him. “Blackflag! Slaughter the men and take the women. Make sure to torture that one!” He declared while pointing at Enix. The giant of a man, resembling an orc, nodded and charged forward.

“They will feel pain equivalent to rotting in hell.” Black flag declared as he charged towards Enix. Arson ran towards Enix to protect his master but lacked the speed to reach him. The same applied to Natalie, Milena, and Rex.

Meanwhile during the chaos, North watched in glee as she thought about the outcome between an irritated and fed up Enix versus the musclehead known as Blackflag. She predicted the outcome that would arise.

Blackflag brandished an iron broadsword and swiped at Enix, who managed to evade the swing. Enix continued to evade Blackflag’s attacks, charging an attack of his own. “Creation: Ice… second stage… Frozen Wave!” He shouted while facing Blackflag with his palm, emitting a wave of ice that trampled over Blackflag, the arrogant man, and an entire army that was on standby, hiding in the forest line. The wave, then, began to bring people to near-death by bringing their temperatures down until they nearly reached hypothermia. Fortunately for Enix’s enemies, Enix controlled Frozen’s Wave’s temperature to ensure that they wouldn’t die. The strain that the skill put on Enix wouldn’t knock him unconscious now that he had control over the skill.

Enix marched towards the man, directing his attention towards the arrogant man. “What is your name?”

“L-L-L-Luis… Fer-Fer-Feral.” Luis spoke while shivering because of the cold temperatures of the wave. Enix nodded before turning around to face North.

“Your choice of what happens to them.”

“You’re getting better… They’ll be jailed until Merlin can pick them up.” Enix nodded before turning around to face Luis. He turned back around and headed towards Jessica, who was intimidated by his show of power. The Frozen Wave managed to reach sixty meters in length with a width of ten meters. “I say that training is over for the day,” North remarked while staring at Enix’s achievement. Arson and the others watched in awe as they looked for the end of the ice. Meanwhile, Jessica couldn’t raise her eyes to match his. Fortunately, Enix ignored her actions, instead heading back towards the town.

“My second chance at life won’t end at the hands of some perverted man. I will die on my terms and that won’t be until I rule this world.” He declared while trudging towards Citrate.

Hello All!

The first season of The Mage With Sealed Powers has finally wrapped. This season has been an interesting series to write. Originally, it was slated for Gen. IV’s release alongside Black Hood S1 and Hunters & Dragons S1 on my main account of Nick Venom. However, it was scrapped and the idea was altered to fit Revival. For those who don’t know, this series was changed to replace five of Revival’s original chapters. Future seasons will continue with the five-episode format.

This series has been renewed for two more seasons slated for 2021 and 2022. Season four will be based on the performances of the first three seasons, so make sure to support this series if you enjoyed it.

Until next time, I bid you all a good day.

Chapter Seventeen "The Zombie Crew: Chapter One - Survival"

Four people traveled down a railroad, passing an abandoned train car. They looted the train car to find nothing of interest, venturing further down the area. The first man, who was in charge of leading the group, wore a riot suit that covered most of his body, except for his face---a tannish face with green eyes and freckles scattered everywhere. A name was printed on the riot helmet---Hound. He strapped a submachine gun to his hip, loaded with multiple attachments.

Following him was a similarly geared woman who carried an assault rifle. The back of her helmet read the name ‘Phoenix’. Her eyes were blue, instead of Hound’s green, and her skin was darker. She didn’t have any of the freckles that Hound had.

The third in the party was a guy dressed in a lightweight green camouflage shirt with boyish red hair---that was shorter in the back than the front--- which stopped an inch over his forehead. Besides that, his pale skin and black eyes illuminated in the sunlight.

He held a revolver in his sweaty palms, carefully pointing it at every dark corner. The name---Frost---was spray-painted in black on the back of his shirt.

The last in the party was an older woman, in her late forties, who had a swat outfit on. She didn’t carry a helmet but held a submachine gun tightly in her grasp.

Without a helmet, her black hair---that she styled into a ponytail---waved freely in the wind. Her black hair played opposite to her whitish skin and near-white eyes with hints of black. Her skin was tannish, also deviating from her hair color.

The name Rose was printed on her sleeve.

The party soon reached the end of the railroad, forcing Hound to decide on their next location to raid. “Let’s go back,” Frost spoke out.

“No, we keep going.” Hound declared, glancing over his shoulder at the smaller in stature Frost. “Not until we have enough to survive the week,” Hound muttered while looking around the surrounding area. An abandoned factory was all that he could see. Aside from the factory, the nearest non-looted building was over an hour away by walking.

“I agree with Frost. We don’t have much light left. The damn bastards will be flooding the streets soon.” Phoenix chirped in.

Rose nodded her head in agreement. “Right now there’s a few of ‘em, but soon this place will be looking like Coachella.”

“We have no cover here. We need to head back.” Frost declared.

Hound shot Frost a glare before letting out a deep sigh. “We’ll head back, but tomorrow we’ll need to retrace our steps once light shines on us.” He told the party, which got their nods of agreement. Hound then led the party back to their headquarters, an abandoned military outpost that was half an hour from the end of the railroad. The outpost was too large for the four of them to maintain, but they managed to keep it together with the leadership of Hound.

The party carried the few magazines and fewer supplies they had to the outpost. However, upon returning they noticed a difference. The gates were locked and barricaded and the perimeter walls were tagged with a threat for any outsiders---which they immediately branded as.

Hound peeked through a small gap in the gate, noticing heavily armored men and women pacing back and forth around the perimeter. “Our headquarters’ been taken over. We lost it.”

“What now? Is there anything we can do?” Phoenix asked.

Frost nodded his head. “We take our headquarters back!” He declared.

“With our weapons? What we should do is find somewhere to crash for the night. Cut our losses and keep moving.” Rose argued, stunning the group with her sudden words.

“She’s right. All we have left are a couple of mags and some crumbs. If anything, this is beneficial to us. We could never defend this huge outpost on our own.” Hound declared, leading the party away from the outpost.

Unfortunately, they didn’t detect the stares of guards of the now-intruders. The Crimson Kings---the group that conquered the outpost---took a big interest in the party, handing out a kill order for them. The ruler of the group licked his lips while staring out of a large window---reaching ten
