Charles sat down on his chair, eyes glued to his online game, Great Wolfstein. The top right corner flashed, suddenly, alerting Charlie to his Gamertag. He moved his mouse to click on the Gamertag, bringing up his profile screen. On his profile screen displayed his skill list---Demon Radar, Reinforced Armor - Mark III, Bloodlust, and Creation: Light. Under his skill list were numerous skills that he hadn’t unlocked. A small screen above his skills read his unused points.
Charles created a tanned skin man with faded light blue hair styled upwards, wearing a blank red tee shirt and grayish-white jeans. He named the character ‘Ace22’. Charles clicked off his profile before looking at the top left corner of the screen. His level was shown to be a hundred, which is impressive for someone in Great Wolfstein to have. Charles looked away from the corners and stared at the middle of the screen. He noticed that the screen began flashing. “Is my computer having connecting problems?” He thought out loud. “It should pass soon.” The flashing continued, eventually, overtaking his vision. Charles outstretched his arms as he grabbed wildly in the air. His vision went white, not allowing him to see anything.
His vision slowly returned, but he wasn’t in his room anymore. Instead, he was standing in a throne room. He looked down at the floor, admiring the marble floor before looking up and scanning the room. On the throne in front of him sat a middle-aged man with a buff physique with dark gray hair and a golden crown. He wore a red cape with gold patches in it along with a solid black shirt and pants. “Welcome, you’ve been summoned here by me.” The king informed me.
“Where am I? Why am I here? Who are you?” Charles shouted at him as he patted himself down.
“My name is King Mason VII. You were summoned to protect my daughter, the princess of Great Wolfstein!” King Mason declared.
“U-Uh… ?” Charles stammered. “Why was I summoned? Couldn’t a native person bodyguard your daughter?”
“No! The legend of the summoned bodyguard, explicitly, states that you are the only person able to protect her. Of course, you will be accommodated during your stay here.” King Mason declared.
Charles hesitated to open his mouth. “Is there a way for me to return home?” King Mason nodded his head before standing up from his throne.
“Once my daughter gets married she’ll be out of danger. Once her marriage is finalized, you will be allowed to leave and return to your world.”
“That’s all I need to do?” Charles asked.
“Yes, Ace.” King Mason said.
“Ace?” Charles asked.
“Your name is Ace, right?”
Oh, my Gamertag is Ace22! It must be using my tag as my name. “No, my name is… ” Charles closed his mouth as he pondered his words. I won’t use my old name anymore. “Sorry, you’re right. My name is Ace.”

Episode Two "King's Daughter"“Ariana!” King Mason shouted. From the second floor of the castle arrived a girl around Ace’s age. Her footsteps stomped down the stairs to the throne room. She walked in resembling a textbook princess with long blonde hair and fair skin. She wore a pink frilly dress that waved in the air.
Ace bowed his head to the princess. “My name is Ace and I’ll be your bodyguard until your marriage.” He said, introducing himself.
Ariana looked at him with a face full of disgust. “This is why you called me?” She asked. “I already told you! I don’t need a bodyguard!” She shouted while pointing her finger at her father.
“He is the summoned bodyguard from the legacy!” King Mason argued.
“I. Don’t. Care. Send him back to where he came from, I can handle myself.” She shouted before stomping her feet up to her room. She slammed her door behind her, the sound echoing its way downstairs. King Mason let out a loud sigh before focusing his attention on Ace.
I apologize, Ace. My wife recently lost her life after being ambushed by demon lords. This is why I decided to summon you to protect my daughter. I cannot lose her, she’s my only child.” King Mason told him.
Ace nodded his head.
“Ariana is a bright girl and she needs to be protected at all cost.” Ace nodded again while scanning the throne room. A floral decoration hung on the two opposite walls of the throne room. King Mason then bowed his head to Ace. Ace was taken aback, taking a few steps backward. “Do you accept the bodyguarding of the princess of Great Wolfstein?”
Ace hesitated to answer as he looked around wildly. He then looked King Mason in the eyes before delivering his answer. “I accept the job.” King Mason smiled and nodded before leading him to the Royal Armory where he delivered Ace his new weapons.
“As a summoned hero, you will receive a sword and gun made from God himself. The Holy Sword Excalibur and Holy Gun Asroth. These are the best weapons that my kingdom can grant you.”
“Wow,” whispered Ace. “Are you sure that you should be giving me this?” Ace asked him.
“Of course!” He shouted, his voice booming off the walls and making all the staff nearby flinch. “You are a legendary hero! I summoned you here and I shall be the one who ensures you return home in one piece.”
“I appreciate that, I’ll make sure to protect your daughter.” He said while shaking King Mason’s hand.
“Thank you, my life has been slightly off the rails recently with my wife’s passing.” The king told him. He then motioned towards a maid with white hair to come forward. “Catrina! Take Ace to his room.” He ordered. Catrina nodded and motioned for him to follow her.
“Thank you, beautiful.” Ace said as he followed her to his room. Catrina turned away from him but slightly blushed at his words. Ace looked around and noticed that none of the maids or butlers had blue hair of any shade. Most of the maids and butlers had black or brown hair with Catrina being one of the few with a different hair color. It looks like that'll be interesting, thought Ace. I may like this life better than my last.

Episode Three "First Day of Bodyguarding"The first day of bodyguarding began the next day due to Ariana whining to her father to go shopping at the nearby town of Kingsville. As her appointed bodyguard, Ace was obliged to follow her there. However, even if it was his duty, he wasn’t excited to hear that he’ll be accompanying her for a shopping trip, something that may take hours to complete.
Ace walked outside and scanned the area, noticing the changes between Earth and Great Wolfstein. Unlike Earth, Great Wolfstein had yellow grass and its sky was emerald green and not blue. Two moons flew overhead the world, one smaller than the other. The bigger moon was crimson red and double the size of the smaller blue moon.
As Ace stared at the foreign scenery, the royal carriage made its way to the front of the castle with Catrina sitting in the driver seat. Ace waved at her. He admired the maid outfit she wore. “Good morning, Catrina.”
“H-Hello… the royal driver is sick today, so I’ll be your driver for today.” She said almost in a whisper. Her voice was light and three pitches higher than Ace’s slightly low voice.
“Amazing, I can’t believe that I’ll have a beautiful girl like yourself driving.” He said, flirting with her. Her cheeks grew bright red before she looked away.
“U-U-Uh… t-t-thank-thanks.” She stammered, her voice hinting at delight.
“Ugh, stop the shameless flirting,” Ariana said, appearing from behind Ace. She flaunted her purple floral dress. Catrina complemented her dress while Ace looked away from her, ignoring her and observing the landscape. “Ahem, this is the time where you should be complimenting my dress.” She said while tapping her shoe.
“Oh, you look good.” Ace, monotony, stated. Ariana puffed up her cheeks and stomped on the ground.
“Good? You should say that I look stunning or something.”
“I was told by my parents that I shouldn’t lie to people.” He said as he looked over at Ariana and gave her a smug smile. Her cheeks grew red, not of embarrassment but out of frustration.
“So you believe that this maid is more beautiful than me?” She blurted out.
“Do you know the name of ‘this maid’?” Ace asked her. Ariana opened her mouth to answer but closed it after a second of waiting. She raised her finger to point at Catrina but lowered it after closing her mouth. “Her name is Catrina, do you know the name of your own staff?” Ariana’s eyebrows shifted diagonally while her teeth began grinding on each other. She turned her back on Ace and Catrina and got into the back of the carriage. Ace then looked over at Catrina. She had curly long white hair that wrapped around her head and dragged itself to her chest. Her hair waved in the wind. She had light blue eyes that reflected the sun, brightening it further. “Oh, and the answer to your question is yes. Catrina is beautiful compared to you, runt.”
“Runt!” Ariana shouted from the back of the carriage. “I will tell my father about this!”
“Go ahead and tell him. I don’t care what a brat tells me. I won’t allow that to happen, again.” Ace shouted back.
“Brat! You shall refer to me as Princess Ariana or Master!” She shouted. Ace burst out laughing, irritating Ariana further. Her face, now, grew blood red. She opened her mouth again, but couldn’t find the words to argue against Ace. She stayed silent in the back of the carriage, steaming while muttering to herself. Ace nodded while having on a small smirk before sitting in the front alongside Catrina. He was proud to stand up against one arrogant girl, even if it wasn’t the one that affected him in his previous life.
“U-Uh, are you sure that you d-don’t want to sit in the back?” She asked, quite nervously.
“Am I a bother?” Ace asked her. She shook her head violently.
“No, no, no. You can stay here with me.” She blurted out. Her cheeks grew red, once again, alerting Ace to her embarrassment.
“Hey, love birds! Can you shut up!” Ariana shouted from the back of the carriage.
“Yes, miss,” Ariana said while lowering her head to avoid making
