Maybe you do not know Satyaki Sen. Let me tell you. He is the object of every man’s envy. He is an idol for the all of us. He is every sane individual’s reference, but you should know this, people refer to him only for his good points. You may say, maybe no one has recognised his true character. I’ll say, and with surety, that he has no negatives.
Ask any man in this panic-stricken world of hurry, “Do you know Satyaki Sen?”
He’ll say, of this I’m pretty sure, “No.”
But ask any person who has been touched by his generosity, and he’ll say, “Why, he is my idol!”
It would not be wrong to see a semblance between him – a mortal, living fine fellow- and an idol – cold, dead (mortal or immortal depends on its importance)- in the sense that people worship both, or should at least. But no, Satyaki is neither cold, and if Heaven and memory permit, never dead.
Maybe it would be wrong to call Satyaki mortal, simply because he is immortal to all those souls who have received the benefit of his unbiased, undiluted grace and attention.
Satyaki is a fierce competitor, but he would never betray anyone else for the sake of his victory. He is not desperate for attention. He is not discontented with his surroundings and belongings. He may not have everything physically, but mentally he is the richest of us all.
Let Hell be damned if he ever is!
You might ask, why I write about Satyaki. It is not that he is a relative or friend of mine. It is just that my fantasy has been attached to him. Why? It is because he is perfect.
That was about the rest of the people. You might want to know whether I envy him.
Fact of matter is that I don’t envy him, because he is going to die as soon as I finish this biography.
You might ask why. The answer is simple.
He does not really exist.
