Where I Am by Chelsea Anne Brennan (popular ebook readers .txt) π
Excerpt from the book:
I believe writing to be a source of comfort- an outlet for the emotions, the pains, the excitments, and the elements that life teaches us. Each of these writings represents a specific moment in my life, when the spoken word couldn't contain the true depth of what I was learning. Whether it be blissful or, at times, satirical- I wrote how I felt, which in turn, helped me understand how I became the person I am today: How I got to where I am. May they motivate you to do the same.

to trust people after that. You went on getting hurt by people, only to find yourself being just as cruel and cynical as them. Now you are the hurter. And you depise it.
Now seeking to amend your ways, you search for the light at the end of the tunnel- soo cliche but so infinitely needed. The irony- They mock at what you've become, they rail your every action and magnify your every mistake.....But yet you are the exact mirror image of themseelves. You radiate thier influence. and it makes you sick.
Yeah, you aren't the same person. Though this end was probably unavoidable. You've grown. And you still hold to that one thing that no choice can ever annul; no comment can ever dissprove; No person can ever strip away....Love.
Is it real? I honestly can't say. But if the idea of its existence can keep a fragment of hope in the deep crevices of your soul, then run to it..cleave to it....let go of all else and stand by it.
I looked at you and didn't recognize you. but at least i understand..a little.
I just can't believe a reflection can say so much. Imprint
