This is an experience I am choosing to share with the world simply because I do not want others who may face abuse, addiction, and/or mental illness to feel like they are alone. I want them to know that it can get better, and that suicide IS NOT the answer! There is always hope. "I was as dead as any person with a pulse possibly could be."

Life as a C.O.D.A is one of a bittersweet nature. Born to deaf parents, Alyssa never understood why God decided to deny her of a normal life. Living through a life of hurt and disappointment Alyssa wanted to give up.She then leans that after a cold, unforgiving winter that a warm and beautiful spring lies ahead.
