This is a monologue I wrote about suicide and depression for my Drama assessment last year. I first tried to find a monologue on the internet to do but I didn't like any of them and they weren't long enough so I started puting bits and pieces of different monologues together and showed my teacher. She thought it was too dark for school so I changed it to be more upbeat and with hope and here it is.
Cain Barras and Serena Woods; two teenagers who suffered undesirable childhoods are moved to neighboring group homes. With trouble constantly circling them, itβs not long before their paths collide. Upon meeting one another a bond crafted by pain, sorrow, and loss forms, making the two inseparable.
