I kept banging my head against the door of my room. "I'm Such...!!" Thud. "A stupid...!!" Thud. "Loser...!!" I said banging my head against the wall after every two words. "What...!!" Thud. "The...!!" Thud. "Heck...!!" Thud. "Is...!!" Thud. "Wrong...!!" Thud. "With You...!!" Thud. Basically this is typical. I usaully bang my head against a wall or a door so hard and for so long til I black out. My names Ronnie by the way. It wasn't always that though. I changed it to that when I heard my dad died. My dad was named Ronald but was always called Ronnie by friends and realitives. I changed my name from Marry to Ronnie when I was seven. After I had my head bangin' done I laid on the floor. I closed my eyes and made my body go limp. My head ache but I didn't care. My hair was short. It was a light brown the color of squirrels fur. It went maybe just two centemeters from resting on my shoulders.
I have grey eyes like my mothers but really I don't care. I'm fourteen and I go to Parkland Middle School in Mchenry Illinois. There was aknock on my door. I moaned. My friend Jullian walk in but we all called him 'J'. His hair was a dark brunette that at sometimes was so dark that it was consider black. He had hazels eyes and lightly tan skin. "Have in a bad day?" He asked. I kept my eyes closed and wished for the world to end. No matter what I did no matter who I hung with 'J' was there beside me. We've been best friend since I was three. He's also my dad's best friend's son. My dad died in the army when I was seven. You know what day we got the knews. On my seventh birthday. I rember the day as if it were only yesterday. Everyone was singing happy birthday for me. the lights were shut off and my face glowed in the candle light. There stood on vanilla frosted cake was seven candle that shimmered. I looked around to see all the neighborhood kids and a few of my friends. There 'J' stood right next to me smiling big and hungry. "Now make a wish Marry!" My mom said. I puffed my cheeks and blew the candles. And literally after they were out the door bell rung. My mom left the room to go answer the door. Everyone cheered.
"what'd you wish for?!" 'J' asked. I shook my head. Then I heard my mom scream. I ran out of the kitchen and to the front door. My mom was sobbing. Jullian's dad was there. This was a surprise for 'J' becuase Jullian's dad was in the army with my dad to. This was the first time 'J' saw him in 14 months. Jullian's dad hugged my mom whispering "I'm so sorry!" 'J' came following right behind me. "Daddy?!" He asked. "Daddy!!" He screamed running to Bill his dad. My mom looked at me with such sorrow my heart ached. After the party my mom took me into the living room. We sat on the couch and she pulled me into her lap. "Marry I need you to listen to me now ok? I need you to listen!" she said trying to hold back her tears. I had two pools in my eyes to. Whatever she was about to tell me wasn't going to be a good surprise. But that was a couple years ago. After I really realized that Papa was gone. I told everyone to never call me Marry. I told them from that day forward call me Ronnie. And everyone excepted that. My dad had three sisters. My dad was the oldest. Then came my aunt Stef, than Aunt Stacy, then Sian. My dad's funeral was awful. I cried so hard that when I got home my eyes were bloodshot and the burned really really bad.
'J' laid next to me. "Happy 14th!" he said. I moaned. My brithday is like the worst day of the year. And every year I do something so stupid to make the pain go away. Does it work? No. But does it matter? Nope not at all!
