Rocks and Indians by Declan Rapp (classic book list TXT) 📕

On Sept. 12, when I was 5, me, my brother, and sister were playing outside. We were bored so I said “ Hey guys why don’t we play Rocks and Indians.” Rocks and Indians was a name I made up on the spot. I explained to them that Rocks and Indians was where the indian threw rocks at the white men. When I was done explaining to them what it was I named my sister the indian. As soon as I said that my sister ran at me and my brother throwing sticks and twigs at us. She was so ferocious that me and my brother were forced up into our tree house. There was a shower of sticks and stones hitting our heads. I called a truce and me and my brother slid down the slide on our tree fort. When we got to the bottom we couldn’t see my sister, so we cautiously crept around towards the door. When we were about 5 Ft. from it my sister jumped out right in front of us! This time she had a big rock in her hand. As soon as I saw it I started running for the door. My sister threw the rock at me just as I was about to reach the door. I will always remember that day.
