knew here would be dead by now.i ran past my old house.the windows were borded up and the grass outside was overgrown.i couldnt look for too long and kept on running.the road that led to the cullen house was overgrown as well.i froze when i saw the house.it looked exactly the same as it did when i left.i knocked on the door,nobody answered so i went in.i knew where carlisle would be,in his study.i knocked on his door.
"come in,"carlisle sounded like he had truly lost hope but that couldnt be right.he had always been the calm one,the one who always knew what to do.hesitantly i walked it.carlisle was sat down with his head back.his eyes were closed and he looked older.he opened his eyes when i came closer.the were black.
