Baby on the doorstep
It was... like always, a nice summer afternoon and the queen had mentioned to the king that she wanted a baby. King Troy refused, "Why would we need a baby! We are perfectly happy here without babies ruining this!"
Queen Alicia didn't listen to her husband though. She waited and waited till the season came when someone lucky got a baby dropped off by their doorstep. Unfortunatly, the king and queen never got a baby dropped by, the Queen thought it was because of her husbands bitterness. But on that very day King Troy was sure that a baby wouldnt appear, but sure enough a beautiful baby girl appeared on their doorstep. The King had never seen his beautiful wife so happy, so he decided it wouldn't be so bad to have one baby in the kingdom and plus she would take over after they were gone.
The Queen was so very thrilled that she wanted the kingdom to know immedeatly that they had a new princess! She named that wonderful bundle of blessings Jade, the kingdom would call her Princess Jade.
When Jade got older she had long, wavy, golden brown hair, eye catching green eyes, lips pinker than a rose, and golden skin that seemed to gleam in the light. But, besides those wonderful things about her, she became harder and harder to handle. She got pickier and clumsier. She would constantly break things, and her mother couldn't handle it, so at the age of 14 it wasn't a good life for Jade. She had classes she had to go to so she could leard how to act like a grown lady and had to eat with her whole family at exactly 5:00 everyday, exept for Sunday when they ate at 4:00.
Try it out
Jade was at her lessons one day thinking about what else she could be doing, when she decided that she would make those things happen. She waited until lunch to sneak out of her home. She climbed over the gaurded walls without being seen, and realized that people would recognize her. She snuck into the servants cabins and got one of their uniforms that fit her well. Then, she slipped over the wall again. She was behind what she would call a shop, but that didn't matter because it was a busy afternoon and people might question her, so she strode along like she knew what she was doing. People started staring at her with that I'm pretty sure I know you but I can't quite put a finger on it look. She hadn't brought any tins with her even though she had thought about it. She was looking in the distance when she saw a stand with nobody by it exept a thing moving to fast she couldn't identify it.
