I am such a nerd, i love watching stupid ass T.V shows, and i love gossip, but im never one to talk. i have two bestfriends tyler and noah. they dont really talk to each other normally, i get this vibe that they don't really like each other. but ever since I could remember, they both have had my back.
i stood against my locker with the two of them, just talking, or doing most of it. "so," i took a long sniff. my alergies again.you guys wanna hang out at my house today, my parents aren't gonna be home for a while. "Nah, i got tons of homework to do sweetheart." Noah said. he always called me sweetheart, eversince we met actually. i turned my head to Tyler with puppy dog face. he turned to me. "yeah i guess i'll hang with you, i got noting better to do." he thanks." i sniffed again. "On second thought, i think i will come." Noah said. "Really, what changed your mind?" i asked. he shrugged. "ok, well i guess i'll see you guys later then, bye." i said. i closed my locker and began walking. "later." noah said i waved. "they are so weird." i whispered to myself, but hey look who's talking.
i was in PE doing the worst thing known to man kind. rUnning. ten laps to be specific. my coach, knowing i had asthma told me to just jog which was so humiliating. all the other students passing me. hey "Grover, might wanna speed up." one of my class mates francessca said. I hated her so badly. go. to. hell." i said between breathes. she stopped laughing and ran pass me. i stopped running and leaned against a fence, sweaty as ever. come on grover, keep going." a familiar deep voice from behind me said. i turned around with a smile on my face, it was Noah. "hey. what are you doing here?" i asked. "eh, you know, just hanging around." he said. i nodded. "since when do you run?" he asked. "what do you mean?" i climbed over the fence and to my bag. i sat down. "come on, you know you don't run you never did." i placed my elbows on my lap. "Noah, are you trying to start a conversation? i asked." he sat beside me. "I don't know, am I?" he asked. I lift my eyebrow. is he trying to flirt, and with me? i thought. "Noah," i asked. "hm?" he asked. "your not flirting, are you?" there was a short silence. he shrugged. ok now he's lying o well i find out sooner or later. "alright sweetheart, i'll see you later, i got exused from class twenty minutes ago." he said as he patted my back and started walking. I watched him as he walked back inside. How did my nerdy ass get a bad boy best- friend? i find myself asking that question everyday.
After school Noah and Tyler both walked with me to my house, we could've drove there but my car had broke down a month ago and im saving up the money to get it fixed. we weren't walking alone, my little sister, Tracey was walking with us, well not exactly walking but jumping and skipping. I had to pick her up on thursday's becusae both my parents don't get off until late. It's a shame though, she so annoying, but it's not her fault she has a sever disease call aspergers disease. Anyway, back to my story. we appraoched my house and then i noticed i forgot my keys in my locker, you should've seen my face, i looked so dumb standing out side my front door. "So." Noah said. So what?" i asked trying to play dumb. "aren't you gonna invite us in?" Tyler asked. Oh yeah, see what happened was i forgot my key at school so..." i just blanked it out for them. "want me to open it for you?" Noah asked. "stupid question, unless you got a key?" I said. he tilted his head and smirked. He reacheed for the door, he jiggled it a bit and it suddenly opened. my jaw dropped. empressive." i said. before we stepped in the house, Tracey pushed us out of her way. gotta go to the bathroom." she said as she ran her tiny body upstairs.i shook my head while Tyler and Noah just Laughed. i walked to the kitched and took off my jacket. "you guys hungry?" i asked them. "Nah." Tyler said as he plopped himself on the couch. "Well I am, who would've thought walking to your house would've made me hungry." Noah said as he approached the refridgerator. "well, all we got are sanwiches." i said. "I want one." Tracey had finally came back downstairs. "Tracey," i said. "hello?" she replied. "can you make Noah a Sandwich? i gotta take a shower." i said as i approached the stairs as she came further down. "a smanwich?" she said as she slured her letters. "yeah, that."
I went upstairs and stripped myself of my clothes. I hopped in the shower soon after. The cool water on my skin made me melt. I felt as If I could stand in the shower all day, but on second thought, I don't wanna look like my grandma so I rather not. After I got out of the shower, I could here Noah and Tyler laughing with my sister. I stood in the hallway listening to there strained conversation but I soon left, the breeze from an open window hit my wet body. I changed Into something more confortable. A pair of denim shors, ankle socks and a spagetti strapped T- shirt. These were my weekend clothes.
When I came back downstairs, Tracey was lying in the middle of Noah and Tyler, asleep sucking her thumb. "Why'd you guys let her go to sleep?" I asked, knowing that she'd be up all night. "She was out like a light." Tyler said. "Well lights come back on." i laughed, picking my sister up grunting while I did it. "Damn tacey, you weight a ton." I whined. "I'll take her up if you want." Tyler suddenly said standing up. "Oh, you don't have to, it's just fifteen steps."
