I am the ruler of light. And this is my story of hope.
Hope is a precious thing.
Some hope for a better future. While some my hope for a better life or better job.
I hope for......nothing really. I have everything I need.
Love, Family, Friends.
Chapter one: Krytonite
I step out into the rain and relishinquish the feeling of the cool drops on my face.
Clark is there under the comfort of the setter waiting for me.
I peck him on the lips and we hop into my white car.
We enter the Daily Planet newsroom and my senses are assaleted instantly.
The smell of coffee lingers in the air like honey.
The sound of people chattering.
The clicking of keys.
It's my comfort like running through the forest.
I am typing away at my computer when my phone rings.
I pick it up carefully.
"Hello? This is Lois Lane." I say out of habit.
"So Kabshiel. How are you?"A fimilar voice says.
"Who is this?" I say not knowing right away.
"Oh you don't remember me? Three guesses and the first two don't count."
"Ryok."
"Correct and do you know why I'm calling?"
"No why?"
"I have your brother and sister here. Say hi to your sister Burne and Aqua!"
My sister's voice takes over.
"Lois? Lois? Help! SOS!" She cries.
Then my brother.
"Help Lois! He's killing us!" He then begins to cry.
I stand up swiftly with grace.
"Let them go,Ryok! I'll do anything you want."
"Good that's what I wanted to hear."
"What do you want for them Ryok?" I say through gritted teeth.
"I want Superman dead."
I laugh.
"He's the man of steel for a reason you know. He can't die."
"Ever heard of Krytonite?"
"No, you didn't."
"Oh yes I did."
I turn to look at Clark. My love. My life.
Last year I showed him my angel side. And he accepted it and me for who I am.
Clark and I walk side by side holding hands when I can't take it anymore.
"Clark, did I ever tell you that I have an arch enemy?" I say with a baited breath.
He turns to look at me with suprised eyes.
"No. Angels have enemies?" He asked.
"Yes. They're called traitor angels. Or proditor angeli in my native tounge."
"What happened Lois?" Clark demands knowing me all too well.
"Ryok, my arch enemy, has kiddnapped my brother and my sister. And in exchange for them Superman must die." I say lowering my eyes from his.
I break into the warehouse and let my senses go off.
They lead Superman and I to my brother and my sister.
My sister looks up at me and smiles happily.
"Kabshiel! You came for us!" She cries.
"Yes of course I came. Turn into your angel when I release your bonds." I command.
I take out my pocket knife and slash through the rope that held my sister's hands behind her back.
I then slash through the ropes that hold her ankles.
I do the same to my brother.
My brother and sister stand up and turn into their angels.
My sister's angel name is Willow Armisael Forcas Darkon. Willow means healing. And Armisael means Angel of the Womb. she basically protects babies in the womb and can make people pregnant. Forcas means darkness.
My brother's angel name is Dagiel Nahaliel Bue. Dagiel means angel who has dominion over fish. And Nahaliel means angel who governs running streams.
My sister is not a dark angel. She was born to be one but is not. Her wings are a lightish black. While my brother's are a deep blue
One thing left to do: Find Ryok.
Ryok has been my worst enemy since his father killed my parents then killed himself not letting me get revenge.
Well I had only been tweleve years old.
But then I knew that I would not let my mother's and my father's deaths be in vain.
But every time I face Ryok he dissapears using the looking glass.
The looking glass is a very useful thing to control. You can send messages by using it and can even transport yourself where ever you want to go.
I close my eyes and my light rushes back into me like a high speed wind.
A low laugh breaks the silence.
I open my eyes to see Superman on the floor with a glowing green stone by his side. Kryptonite.
A warm yet cold gushing feeling rushes through my body as the Kryptonite hits me.
Yes it has an effect on angels. But mostly half-bloods.
I stumble forward toward Superman.
I pick up the Kryptonite and it burns my white flesh on contact.
I wince in pain.
I throw the Kyrptonite into the dark reces of the warehouse.
Superman stands up in a flash.
But before he can do anything Ryok has me in a death grip with a knife pressed to my throat aganist my most important vein.
It would only take a little cut for me to die.
"Let her go." Superman says.
"Die first." Ryok says and presses the knife a little deeper, drawing blood.
My eyes bulge and I go limp. Sliping into the darkness of Disturbia.
I open my eyes to fog. I cough wildly the fog clogging my throat.
Suddenly a figure appears out of the fog. I smile realizing who-what-it was. "Tootsie!" I call.
The dragon head-yes a dragon-turns and slithers closer. Then the purple dragon head pops out of the fog where I am standing. I reach out and touch beautiful creature.
I can feel the cool scales of tootsie's face.
"Angel of light. Welcome back to the Shadowlands." Tootsie says through our mental bond that all angels and half-bloods have with her.
"Am I dead?" I ask still petting Tootsie.
Tootsie nods her dragon head.
"You died, that's for sure. But you must go back."
"I must? But why?"
"Long ago when your parents joined the shadowlands you cut off your wings to join them. But you didn't die. You lived. For that reason you were meant to grow up and find love. God told you this long ago."
"But-but why doesn't he talk to me anymore?"
"You've forgotten how to listen. Go back now Angel of light. Goodbye."
"Goodbye Tootsie." I say feeling myself being pulled away like tape on a window.
I open my eyes slowly groaning from pain.
I try to sit up but something holds me down.
Ryok?
But no I can smell a heavy scent in the air. It smells like coming home...
Clark is leaning over me with a beautiful smile on his handsome face.
"Lois? Are you hurt?" He asks concerned.
I roll my eyes and touch my throat. A piece of cloth is wrapped around my neck and my wound.
"I'm fine. What happened?" I ask not remembering.
"Your arch enemy cut your throat."
Then I remembered everything.
Ryok cutting my throat. Tootsie telling me to come back to life. Everything.
I sit up and hug Clark tightly to me intill I didn't know where I stopped and he began.
Over the days I quickly recover.
My talk with the oracle dragon Tootsie continues to haunt me.
Every time I dream there she is.
One day Clark and I are walking through the snowy park toward our tree.
I decided to tell him what happened when I was 12.
My story goes like this.
When I was 12 my parents and grandparents died in a fire caused by my enemy's father.
I was left orphaned with my brother and my sister.
I decided that I wanted to join my parents in the Shadowlands.
So I cut off my wings.
I went into a coma for a few days as the angel doctor tried to save my wings.
He failed.
So I became a full human. Living out my days as a full human half-blood.
But I wasn't sastisfied.
I wanted to fly again.
So the day I met Clark Kent I grew back my wings and flew again.
But Clark seems to have another plan.
We sit down under the old oak tree with it's snowy branches.
Clark kneels in front of me and takes my hand in his.
"Lois, you know I love you right?" Clark asks.
I smile and nod. "I love you too."
Clark then pulls out a small box from his coat pocket. A ring box.
He opens it slowly and nestled in the swaddling fabric is a gold ring with two hearts crossed over each other.
"Lois Brave Lane. I love you and will forever. Lois...will you marry me?" Clark says in a rush.
I nod my head and he sighs with relief.
He takes the ring out of the box and slides it onto my left ring finger.
His mouth finds mine and we kiss for what seems like an eternity.
Clark and I edventually walk on talking all about our future.
I know of no better omen.
I wake up to my radio alarm playing blues brothers.
I groan and roll out of bed repeatedly hitting the snooze button intill it turned off.
I lift my left hand admiring
