It was the first day back to school and Claudia is not enjoying the weather . She was thinking about what today might bring her.
" Claudia, are you listening to me?" Jade asks.
" What? I'm sorry. What were you saying?" Claudia replies.
" I was saying I heard there is a new kid and his name is Asher Picket." She says.
Claudia replies, "Oh cool! Maybe we should invite him out to hang out with us."
Jade replies, " Yeah!"
"Let's go to class, Jade." Claudia says.
In class Jade, Claudia, and the other girls kept talking about the new kid Asher.
" Good morning class," Mr. Style says.
" Good morning Mr. Style," the class replies
" We have a new student and his name is Asher Picket. Mr. Picket you can take your sit nest to Ms. Meadows." He says.
All through class Asher and Claudia locked eyes. Claudia kept wanting to look away from his sexy green eyes. After class Asher came up to Claudia.
" Hey. I'm Asher and you must be?" He says.
" I'm Claudia. How is it going on your first day back to school?" She asks.
" It's going great. Do you know where Mr. Flowers class is?" Asher asks.
" Yeah, I'm headed that way now." Claudia says.
They walked to class together talking about what they did over the summer. They sat right next to each other. Asher hands Claudia a piece of paper. Claudia looks at it and smiles. It was his number and it said call me sometime. After class Claudia knew she had to go find Jade.
" Jade, oh my gosh!" Claudia says.
" What Claudia?" Jade replies.
" I got Asher's number." She says.
" Oh my gosh, C." Jade replies.
Claudia goes home and starts on her homework.
