"Can we go to the inn and get some cookies?"  Ali asked.

"Now, Ali. You know I need to stay here at the Manor." Queen Cami said.

"Pleeease?!" Ali pleaded.

"She won't relent until I say yes." The Queen thought to herself.

"Ali, we will. But you just this once!"

"Thank you, Mom! I love you!" Ali said, frantic to go.

"Cody, I'm going to the inn with Ali." Cami says, getting up out of her throne. She grabs her daughter's hand and walks down the stairs.

"And guards." Cami says, in the front doorway. "Be prepared!"

"Yes ma'm!"  They say as they watch the Queen go.

**

"Finally...at the inn!" Ali cheers.

"Why...must we walk on foot." Cami mutters.

The door was already open for the customers to go in. Queen Cami walks in, Ali behind her.

As Cami and Ali walked in, the people all stared in shock, almost dropping the stuff in their hands.

"Queen!" The workers yelled.

Queen Cami laughed, "Just act like I'm a normal customer!"

The workers awkwardly smile, getting back to work.

"Hello?" A very little worker said. She was 4 inches shorter than the Queen and Ali herself! "My name is Dana. What would you like..m'lady...and you."  She points to Ali.

"What would you like?" Queen Cami asked Ali.

"10 cookies!"

"Ali, I told you; the limit is 5."

"Fine! 5!" Ali slightly pouted.

"And what flavor?" Dana asked.

"Regular!" Ali chirped.

"Chocolate chip?" Dana looked at Ali, puzzled.

"Yes."

"Ali, you are 13, you know this!" Cami whispered. Ali shrugged.

"And for you, Queen?" Dana said.

"Just a cup of water" she says. "Incase I get dehydrated walking here.." she thought.

"Yes, Queen! We'll be right there with your order!" Dana said quickly, walking into the kitchen

"Wow, they really adore you!" Ali said.

"Yup."

"Just because your the Queen?"

"I suppose."

**

(5 minutes later)

"Here you go!" Dana says, somehow in front of the two. "Sorry, the oven was full of other dishes!"

Ali didn't see any other customers there.

"It's quite alright." Cami said, taking the plate of cookies and the cup.

Ali snatched the plate, shoving a whole cookie into her mouth!

"That would be 5 silver...a Queen discount!" Dana smiled.

"Originial price?" Ali asked, her mouth full.

"12 silver."

"Jeez!" Ali said.

Cami reached in her purse, getting out 4 silver and 99 iron.

"Thank you, come again!" Dana said as she grabbed the money.

Ali and Cami smiled as they walked out of the door.

**

"Were back at the Manor!" Ali squealed.

"Yep.." Cami panted.

Ali knocked on the door.

Knock

Knock

Knock.

A guard opened it. It was Oliver. Oliver was a tall man, always wearing a red helmet so we couldn't reveal his hair. He had a blue and gray chestpiece and pants. He also brought 2 short swords with him.

"Oh, Queen. It's only you." he says.

"Sorry were late. Walking here was a bit-" Ali said, but got cut off.

"Ali!" Cami glared at her.

"Sorry.." Ali cleared her throat.

"Come in, come in!" Oliver beckoned them both into the Queen room.

"Cami, honey!" King Cody said right as Cami put one foot into the room.

"I'm back."

"We have a special guest we want you to meet!" Cody clapped.

"Who is it?"

"Come and look for yourself."

Cody backed up the other way.

Revealing herself, there she was.

"Hello..." she said quietly.

Two

 "Hello..." she said quietly.

"Is it really?!" Cami gasped, running up the stairs.

"Has it been 20 years!?" The girl stated.

"Yes, it has!"

Ali looked puzzled.

"Ashleigh, it is you!" Cami hugged her.

"I've been in Westward--"  Ashleigh stopped talking

"Yes?" Cami said.

"About Westward...my father fought there. And he didn't make it."

"Oh, Heavens! I am very sorry." Cami said.

"No, it's fine."

"Um...dad." Ali said.

"This is Ashleigh. She used to live here, but she moved to Westward. Asheligh was a guard to the Queen herself." Cody said.

"Oh, she just looks so familiar!"

"Yes, from when you were a baby, she was your age!"

"I don't remember."

"Well, you were a baby." King Cody laughed.

"Oh!" Ashleigh turned around. She turned to the front, a book in her hands.

"It was a journal my father gave me. But I couldn't dechiper it." Asheligh hugged it, handing it to the Queen.

"It's in a different language I can't read!" Ashleigh said.

The Queen opened to the first page, and read:

"La'Than kar kal Og'ru ui dim se'sean atha'loke tow gortow gosel tore jil."

"This is all it says?" Cami asked.

Ashleigh nodded.

"When did people this time speak--"

"Mom! Dad was wondering if you wanted chicken tonight!" Ali said.

Dad put his palm on his face.

"Um...I was planning on that."  Cami said.

Cami looks at Ashleigh again. "So, it's--"

"Queen!"  Guard Jackson yelled, running in the door.

"Queen! Look at this message!"

"Help! Queen, King, whoever! Our forest has been demolished and burst into flames by somebody! We aren't sure who! But surely you can figure it out! Please help us before we get endangered!"     -The Wolves.

"What!?" Cami shouted.

"Why would they do that!"  Cody clenched his fist together.

"Endangered?" Ali said.

Then, there was once another knock on the door.

Knock Knock Knock

Guard Oliver slowly opened it, "Hello.."

Once the door was open all the way, a man walked in. He had red armor, it was all made of leather. The hood was covering up his head, so we coudn't see his face. He had a dagger on his side, making everybody tense up.

"What business do you have here?" Cami said, sitting in her throne. Asheligh stood by it.

Shadow man laughed.

"My name is Carson." He said. "A henchman."

"Of who?!" Cody hissed.

"That's not too important at the moment." Carson said.

"The important thing is that I need information."

"information?" Cody frowned.

"Yes, information from this stupid girl." He points to Ali.

"M-Me?" Ali winced.

"You and the Queen!" Carson said.

Cami ran and got in front of her daughter, "what do you want?"

"I want to make a deal with you."

"What!?" Cami squinted at him.

"If you hand over Ali, I shall marry her, for a price of 2500 gold pieces." Carson held out a big bag.

"First of all, she's only 13!" Cami said. "Second of all, I wouldn't hand her over for any price!"

Carson frowned under his hood, "So be it."

Carson walked out of the manor, holding the dagger in his hand. All the guards had their weapon out, too.

Cami turned around, her daughter shaking like crazy.

"It's okay ,hun." Queen Cami said.

"W-who was that.." Ali asked.

"Uh, we aren't for sure." Cami said.

All the guards stared at the door.

"Maybe he's an assassin?" Guard Mora said.

"Maybe he's a henchman of past enemies?" Guard Laney suggested.

"We aren't sure, but were going to have to find out at some point." King Cody said.

"Just be glad he hasn't harmed any of us yet."  Ashleigh said.

Cami, Ali, and Cody nodded.

"And Cami--" Ashleigh said.

"Ali, let's just set dinner up for our guest."  Cami said.

Ashleigh sighed.

**

At the dinner table, Ashleigh sat across from the Queen.

"Say, Cami? What language was that journal in?" she asked.

"Oh," Cami replied, "it was dragon language."

"Dragon language...of course! He did join the Dragon Team anyway."  Ashleigh thought to herself.

"What did it say?" Ashleigh kind of perked up from the table.

"It said, 'Joining the dragon team was a big mistake, I have to sacrifice myself for them.'"

"That was it?" Asheligh's lip quivered.

"I'm afraid so." Cami said.

Ashleigh sighed and thought, "What in the world did he sacrifice himself? Why him? He shouldn't have thought about it. What for though? Ah, maybe the dragon team made him. But if so, why him? That doesn't seem fair. Oh god, why is this so mind-boggli-"

Ashleigh's thought got interrupted.

"Would you like more chicken?" Cody asked.

Ashleigh shook her head, "No thanks. I'm full."

Cody nodded as he took another bite of chicken.
