Promise by Emma Piper (reading fiction .TXT) 📕

Fire and ash was all over.
Panic hit me like a tsunami. Where was he?
Was he alive and well? Or was he being tortured to the edge of insanity? Was he a traitor.
I'll never know. I could've never known before. His deep blue eyes hardly ever showed any emotion. Either way, he broke his promise.
It sends me a memory of him. I remember the first day I see him:
His black hair rippled in the wind. The shadows made him look like he was smiling, his eyes held a promise.
Trust. How do I trust him if he broke his promise?

Even though he broke it and it shattered my heart,I trusted him a tiny bit.
