We all have the dream of being the best. Some people can even claim to be the best. The real question is, how did you become the best? What’s your story? Everyone says they want to live forever, but they don’t know what you have to do to live forever and what you have to do to stay alive. What if I told you immortality wasn’t always a blessing? What if I told you that maybe Belle wasn’t beauty but that she was actually the beast? I wasn’t blessed with eternal life. I was cursed.

      Eternity. Where did it all begin? I never realized that eternity doesn’t have a beginning, nor does it have an end. Most people think that immortals were created at the same time as the world, they were wrong. I didn’t gain immortality till I was twenty-four years old. I used to be a pirate. Not just a pirate, I was the pirate. I used to have a ship, THE ANGEL. Although it sounds like a pretty name, we all forget that Satan was once an Angel too. I had a life, a family, a crew, and a name. I had a name. No one ever thinks that having a name is an important thing, but over the centuries I’ve had several. In the 1600’s I was known as Evan Burns. I worked alongside Edward Teach for years until he was finally cut down. The Queen Anne’s Revenge was hidden in pirates cove. A beautiful place pirate’s cove. It took me a while but unlike most pirates, I didn’t steal THE ANGEL. I built it, I slaved over that ship day in and day out for the King James the VI. Then I stole it. My beloved ANGEL. She was the prize of the King’s Armada. Key word there being was. She used to be my heart and soul.
