Prologue

I was coming back from my walk in the woods. But of course it was an ordinary day over here in Crystal Fields. But then I saw something. It looked like thick and black smoke was rising from my home. Walking with my stallion, I quickly jumped on it and ride to the town as fast as my stallion and I could take. I arrived, but saw my house and other houses up in flames. I saw the great steeds and the guards were heading our way from Kingdom Aria.

The smoke cleared, seeing water from the guards or the fire guards putting it out. I ran in front of the house, seeing my mother and father being brought out. Along with my baby brother. I was horrified. They died in the fire. "Why couldn't I have been there for them?" I asked myself, feelings the hot tears stream down my face. I rose from being on the ground, and took my mothers ring that was on her finger. I put it on mine to remember her. Before I did anything, I then had gotten on my stallion, riding off to the gap between a land. Though guards were questioning me, I ignored them and ran. I heard their voice become faint.  I spotted some bridge I see as a first time. But I go because of fate. What else could I do? I carefully crossed it.

I made it across but I stopped my stallion. It didn't seem that far but it was, so I decided to take a break.

Time seemed to fast forward, unable to see my town. I must have gone about 3 miles. My stallion was tired but so was I from the tears. I lay  next to a blooming tree of pink blossoms. I close my eyes. I open then back up as I hear a scream. I instantly stand up and run to where I hear this scream. I saw a mare running off to making its cry.

I saw a girl that then looked my age. She lay against a dead tree not too far from the pink blossoming one. I look closely, seeing a bear trap on her leg. How did I not hear that noise? Forgetting my staff was in my hand, I used it to break the bear trap with the bottom of it. It didn't break so I tried it a few more times. It was loosened so I grabbed the side of it and pulled it off her leg. She must've been unconscious since she made no noise.

I had bandages with me wrapped around my arms, just in case. I took a few wraps off my arm and wrapped them around this girl's leg. Then I waited for her to wake up.

After about 45 minutes I heard a voice, "Thank you." I smile. Then I see her in front of me. She had two daggers, one pointed at my neck.

I panic and she yells, "Who are you supposed to be?" I took deep breaths and calmed down. Then I politely answered her question.
