Great Sage Miles was the most powerful human being. Miles was born in a merchant town known as ‘Hellspit’ outside of the capital. He was revered as a prodigy at a young age. Since he was five he has been researching and training his magic. When he became twenty-one his magic reached its peak. His magic matched that of the demon king and he was ensured to become the king. He was able to kill the demon king, but he refused the position of king to continue his research. His research was able to find the cure to many diseases that were thought to be incurable. Unfortunately, he was not meant to stay long on the human realm. His body carried a rare type of disease that would kill him at any time. None of his cures were able to fully heal him and keep him alive. To ensure the human realm would remain safe he decided to initiate a project that would keep the kingdom of Great Lookshin (pro. Look-shin) protected from the next demon king. That project was activated and five strong lights pierced the sky. People nearby checked out the cause of the lights to find an empty house where Miles last stayed in. They couldn’t figure out what happened to him or what those lights were, but his research lived on as well as his legacy. The legacy of the Great Sage Miles.
Episode Two "Elsa"Marcus dug a small hole. He planted a crop in it and filled it up. He then wiped his forehead as he gazed around. Around him were other farmworkers. The town they live in isn’t known for anything special. The small town of Wellstown held a population of two hundred. Everybody there knew each other. From mothers to children to even the mailman. Everybody knew each other. They also knew Marcus very well. His abilities for blunt weapons were profound and discovered early. Now he is one of the protectors of the small town. Along with four other adults, they form the “police” of the town. Without them, the town would be ravaged by beasts or bandits.
"Marcus!” A girl shouted. Marcus looked at the girl. It was his sister, Anna.
“What’s up?” He asked.
“A noble appeared at the center of town” She shouted.
“Is the noble causing a disturbance?” He asked.
“No, you need to check this out,” Anna said. She walked over to Marcus and grabbed his arm. She dragged him to the center of town. There he met a girl in blue. The girl had blue long hair that flowed to her waist. Her pale skin made all the other girls in the town jealous. Her beautiful features didn’t pale in comparison with anybody else.
“I apologize for the trouble I caused. I came here as a substitute for my father, the lord. I am here to look around the town before departing for the next town.” The girl said.
“No worries. I am Marcus. One of the protectors of this town.” Marcus said. “I will be in charge of showing you around our small town.” Marcus pointed at their inn. He started introducing their different locations. The inn, hunters camp, and other smaller buildings. After his tour, he returned her to the town center.
“Why I must admit that I am impressed with the conditions of the town. It seems very cozy, unlike the capital.” She remarked.
“If you don’t mind, can you tell me of the capital?”
“The capital is very troublesome. It’s ridden with crime. But there’s also a beauty to it. There is the Elo river which has beautiful water. The capital also has an unimaginable amount of opportunities available, especially to young people like yourself.” The girl said.
"You flatter me so,” Marcus said. “I intend on leaving and heading to the capital.”
“Oh, you should. It will be eye-opening.” The girl said. They now reached the town center. “Oh, it’s time for me to leave.” The girl commented.
“If you don’t me asking, would you give me the pleasure of having your name?” Marcus asked.
"Elsa. My name is Elsa.” Elsa said. “If you do ever go to the capital then visit my father’s home and we’ll be happy to help you in your transition,” Elsa said.
"And I thank you for that. Send my regards to your father.” Marcus said.
“ I will and thank you for the tour. Goodbye for now.” Elsa said walking off. Marcus smiled. He has now established his foundation in the capital. He turned around and headed to the farm to finish with the crops.
Episode Three "I want to go to the capital"“You’re leaving?” Marcu’s mom asked. “Why?”
"I want to go to the capital!” He declared.
“Is it because of that noble girl?” She asked.
“Yeah,” He said. “I want to go check it out at least.” His mom sighed.
“You know that the dream that you have in your mind might be destroyed by going to the capital right?” She asked. “Or you might not find what you want.”
“I’m fine with that. I want to venture to the capital. If it isn’t what I want, then I’ll return. If it is then I’ll stay over there.” He answered.
“So, you want to be an adventurer then?” His mother asked.
“Yeah,” He responded. “I want to fill the spot of the tank.”
“Why a tank and not a swordsman?”
“I have no talent with a sword. The only things that I can use are my fists and a shield. I can’t even use a knife. I’m totally useless with any other type of weapons.” He ranted. His mother laid her hands on his face to stop him. She looked him dead in his eyes. Marcus was never able to look at his mother in the eyes. Somehow, though, he was looking at her directly in the eyes. She then smiled and let go of his face. She backed up.
“I see that you are truly determined to go,” She noted. “I know that if I don’t let you go, you will end up regretting your life or end up running away. I’ll let you go as long as you take two of your siblings.” She told him. “Anna! Eden!” She shouted. His siblings arrived within moments. Eden is fourteen with the same grayish-blackish hair that Marcus has. Unlike his older brother, Eden’s sense of fashion was better. Marcus wore tattered black clothes while Eden chose to wear a green jumpsuit. They all wore the same black work boots. Eden’s hairstyle was a textured top while Marcus had a fade. Anna had curly dirty blond hair and wore a loose blank purple t-shirt and gray joggers. “You two will join Marcus in his trip to the capital. If he decides to stay at the capital then you’ll also be staying with him.” She told them.
“Really?” Eden said with a sparkle in his eye. He has always wanted to leave the village and explore the world.
“Are we going now?” Anna asked.
“Yeah, we’re leaving now.” He reassured her. “Let’s go now.” He held his mother’s hand and kissed her bye. He let his siblings say bye to their mother and other siblings before leaving. He said bye to the other protectors and left the village with his siblings in tow. He was thrilled to leave the village and begin his new life.
Episode Four "Hellspit"Recap:
Marcus tells his mother that he wants to leave the small town and his mom agrees. The only condition that his mother set was that two of his siblings were to join him.
Marcus got a carriage that took him to a town outside of the capital. He wasn’t able to find a carriage that would take them directly to the capital. They went to a town known as “Hellspit”. It was a small town similar to Marcus’ hometown. They entered the new town and were immediately greeted by its protectors.
“Hello! I am Holt and I’m one of the protectors of this small town.” Holt said. He motioned towards the town. “This may be a small town, but we have quite a lot of stuff. Inns, restaurants, and even an adventurer guild.” He said. He showed Marcus and his siblings around the town ending the tour off at an inn that he recommended.
“What are we going to do first?” Anna asked.
“Yeah, are we going to stay?” Eden asked.
“We’re going to stay for a week. I don’t have enough money to cover a carriage to the capital. And even then we wouldn’t have enough money to survive a week in the capital. For now, we will register at the guild and take some jobs to make some quick money.” Marcus told them.
“Aww, okay,” Anna said.
“That’s fine. It’s better than rushing towards the capital with no money.” Eden asked.
“Okay, let’s-” He started. A scream interrupted him. He looked over at the gate that was in view. A Hellbear appeared at the gate. It reached a towering height of seven feet and weighed around three hundred pounds. If it were to ever lay on you then it would be instant death. The Hellbear’s face was covered in blood. A woman’s corpse laid in a puddle of blood nearby the Hellbear.
“Surround it!” yelled Holt.
“Don’t let it free!” shouted another protector.
“We need reinforcements.” shouted a protector.
“You guys need help?” asked a teen with a light blue hair that was spiky. He wore a dark blue hoodie with the words “MIL Equal Success” on it and had black jeans. He took out a blade. “I am the greatest swordsman. Ezra.” The guy said.
