Episode One "New World"

Three Americans were teleported to the nation known as Sycondel. The three being friends, and trusting, were teleported to an empty clearing. Mike, a jock and known to be very brave and calm during stressful situations. He wore an LA Lakers jersey and dark blue jeans and has dark green messy hair. Macy is known to be a nice person to everybody around her, no matter the gender or race. An angel, some called her. She wears light blue jeans, a plain black tee-shirt, and red hair that curled and tied into a ponytail. Zane is the third person and the shyest of the three. His quiet and timid demeanor allowed people to label him as a “loser.” He wore a black sweater with a black plain tee shirt under it. His jeans are dark blue and his hair is blue colored and parted to the right.

The three were walking home together when they suddenly lost their vision, later waking up in an open clearing. Mike stood up first and scanned the area. In the clearing are no houses or people. Only plants and weeds stood in the clearing. “Where are we?” He asked.

"Not in Chicago,” noted Zane.

“Let’s check…” Her voice trailed off. She jerked her head back and shrieked.

“What happened?” Mike shouted.

"I-I-I see something. It looks like one of those boards in the game Zane plays.”

Board? What does she mean? Zane wrinkled his eyebrows. Mike looked over at Zane. “What does it tell you?” Zane asked.

“It shows me… my skills.”

“Skills!” Zane exclaimed. “Then that means you’re seeing your menu screen. We’re in a game!” Zane shouted.

“A game?” Mike asked.

“Wait, I see something. One of my skills, called Stealth Detection, is going off.” Macy told them.

“Stealth Detection? You’re detecting anybody hiding around us. How many people do you see?” Zane asked, his breathing becoming heavier.

“Five, no wait ten!” She declared. They looked around, panicked. They heard the sounds of wolves growling around them. Ten wolves appeared and they started gnashing. They formed a circle around the three teens. “I see one more,” Macy shouted. Her words are true as one wolf appeared, this one is ten times the size of the other wolves. The ten small wolves have grey fur and one crystal horn on their forehead. The wolf roared and lowered his head, the crystal horn facing right at them. The horn lit up a blood-red color.

“Alpha! Red! Keep the king at bay. Lucy! Woods! Fend off the wolves. Omega! On me.” A man wielding a sword and hiding under a black cloak shouted. He ran in from the ends of the clearing. The five wolves at his side departed. The wolves attacked their targets with one of them sticking to the guy’s side. Two of the wolves---Lucy and Woods---attacked the ten wolves. Lucy and Woods charged at the wolves, their coats lighting up. Lucy’s coat turning green while Woods’s coat turning brown. They emitted their element in a blast that devastated the wolves. The wolves that weren’t vaporized in an instant turned tail and ran. The king growled as it was being attacked by the other wolves, Alpha and Red. Alpha’s coat is red while Red’s coat is grey. They blasted their elements at the King, forcing him to retreat. The blasts of elements inflicted some distance but will not kill the King, only scaring it away.

The guy walked over to the three teens. He took off his cloak to reveal his “Hello, I’m Nick, an adventurer, and teen.” He announced. “Return!” He shouted. The wolves he ordered to fend off the malicious wolves returned to his side. “Are you guys new here?” He asked.

Macy and Mike stood dumbfounded and speechless. Zane, the only one used to this scenario and magic from his gaming time, spoke up. “We’re looking for the nearest city. Can you help us get there?”

“Sure,” Nick said. He turned to his wolves. “Shadows,” He ordered. His wolves circled around him, his shadow behind him extending to six feet. All of his wolves jumped into his shadow and disappeared. “Follow me, I’ll take you to the capital, Tanri.” He said, He turned around and walked away from them. The teens hesitated to follow him. Nick turned around and motioned the teens to follow him. Zane took a step forward. Nick smiled and nodded at Zane. He turned around and walked towards the end of the clearing and the nearest city. Zane looked back at Mike and Macy and motioned for them to follow him. They nodded and followed Nick to the city.

Episode Two "Tanri"

They approached Tanri, walking up to the main gate. A large drawbridge extended itself over the moat of rushing water, allowing people to stand on it. A line formed from the main entrance across the drawbridge and to the other side of the moat. Guards were posted at the main entrance and on the drawbridge to keep the line of people organized. They didn’t want it to be disorganized and create chaos.

Nick approached the line, jumping behind the last person and motioning for the others to follow him. They reluctantly lined up behind him; Mike and Macy behind him with Zane behind them.

As they waited for their chance to enter, Macy carefully watched Nick. She didn’t trust him, believing that he had evil intentions. She had met somebody who appeared nice but was faking it. The guy used the fake persona to trick her, nearly raping her. Fortunately, Zane found her and brought Mike along. Mike badly wounded the guy and Zane called the police. He was later jailed with a sentence of ten years - which she wanted to be extended.

She wanted to see if Nick was the same or not.

Mike, on the other hand, didn’t care about Nick or anything else. He was focused on his skill screen, muttering “wow” and “I’m amazing” to himself as he inspected his skills. He was too focused on his skills to care about Nick’s true identity or the city in front of him.

Zane, meanwhile, replayed the fight in his mind. He watched as his friends and himself were nearly killed by King Wolf, devoured by its subordinates. He then saw Nick make his appearance and save them. The three of them couldn’t do anything in front of King Wolf, but Zane zeroed in on himself. He saw himself as the weak link. He didn’t enjoy that perspective, yearning to be stronger. He hated that feeling, a feeling he had when the guy nearly raped Macy. He was the one responsible for saving her, but Mike was the one to get hits on the guy. He never touched the guy once, never releasing the anger he had. Instead, it was bottled up, never escaping him.

“Zane,” Mike said as he shook his shoulders. Zane snapped out of his daze as Mike took his hands off him. He pointed at the guards that were standing in front of them. Zane was too focused on replaying the past that he didn’t notice that they were at the main entrance already.

The guards beckoned for an identification card, which Nick supplied them with his own. However, the guards asked for the teens. Nick quickly thought up an excuse, telling the guards, “they’re with me, but they seem to have lost their cards while traveling through the King Wolf’s Plain.” The guards nodded and motioned towards an orb sitting on a nearby stand.

“Place your hand on this orb to check your criminal record. If you’re clear then you can go inside. If you aren’t clear, then your entry will be refused.” One of the guards explained. Nick turned around and beckoned them forward. Macy went first, touching the glass orb with her palm, getting a blue color.

“You’re good.” The same guard remarked. Mike then went next and got the same color. Then Zane went after him, also getting the same light blue color.

“Okay, you’re all clear. Nick, make sure you take them to the guild to assign them new cards.” The guard advised. Nick nodded and beckoned for the teens to follow him. He took them to the adventurers guild to register them as adventurers. The receptionist---named Hailey--a blonde pigtail girl wearing the guild’s uniform of a striped blue and red polo and dress pants, informed the teens about the guild’s ranking system.

“New adventurers start at rank F and can work their way up to rank S, which is the strongest rank assigned to adventurers. You need to complete thirty quests to rank up to rank E. To rank up to rank D, you will need to double the number of quests you did for rank E and this pattern will continue until you get to rank B. To rank up to rank B, you’ll need to pass a test. Any questions?” She asked. The teens shook their heads. Hailey smiled as she handed the teens their adventurer ID.

During this, Nick walked over to the quest board and ripped a quest off the board. He then returned to Hailey, handing her the quest. “Are you sure that they can handle goblins?” She asked.

“Of course,” Nick said.

Hailey stared at him, squinting. “Nick, don’t push them too hard.” She said.

“I won’t,” He said, raising his hands like he was faking surrender. “If stuff gets dangerous, then I’ll bring out my wolves.”

Hailey shook her head, slightly pouting. “Fine,” She muttered. Nick thanked her before walking out of the building with the teens following after him.

“Our mission is to kill seven goblins. We’ll need their ears as proof, so don’t forget about them.” Nick told them.

“Got it,” the three teenagers said simultaneously. Nick smirked as he led them outside of the city and into the plains. Fortunately, they came across several goblins quickly. They were lurking astray from their cave.

“Before we attack, do any of you have any fighting skills? And what are your names?” Nick asked, a little late.

“Mike. I have two Creation skills and a skill called Brute Force.” Mike whispered.

“Perfect, those skills will be useful in fighting. Brute Force will increase your strength while those Creation skills allow you to utilize the element they have.” Nick explained.

“I’m Macy and I have... Stealth Detection and Invisibility.” Macy said.

“Stealth Detection detects anybody using Invisibility or any other stealth skills. Perfect for finding enemies who are hiding. What about you?” He asked Zane.

“Z-Z-Zane. I-I have A-Ark light, Heal V, and… and M-Magic Eye.” Zane whispered.

“It seems like you’re not suited for fighting. Maybe you would be better as a support role.” Nick said, barely paying him any attention. Zane’s self-esteem crashed down, becoming a small version of himself. Macy and Mike noticed this change.

“Okay, here’s the plan. Mike will use his Brute Force skill to charge directly at them while Macy will sneak around and ambush them.” Nick said.

“I don’t have a weapon,” Macy said.

“Okay, then here,” Nick said, handing her a knife. “I will assign you one of my wolves to help you. While Mike’s distracting them, you flank them. Zane will act as a medic and heal them after the battle. Okay,
