Our Love Game by Irene Mae (book series for 12 year olds txt) 📕

My hands find their way to the locked drawer of my dresser, I softly remove the necklace handing from my pale neck and unlock the drawer. Inside are a few items: a diary, also locked. My necklace has the key for that as well. A box, the contents are irrelevant to you, and a stuffed animal, a black cat specifically. I smile and carefully lift up the diary. I unlock it and cautiously open the pages, looking around to make sure my brothers weren’t around. I calmly lay back on my bed and start writing. I start every page with a simple, “Dear Kathalina Delatore...” and then begin spilling my feelings. If you didn’t guess, that’s my name...Kathalina Belle Delatore. I am a cat girl. I have soft, jet black hair that blends into my ears, and a jet black tail. My eyes are gold and my skin is very pale. I look like my great grandma, Katie Hall, she was a beautiful maiden, a criminal, but none the less beautiful. I tie my hair into a messy ponytail before I finish writing today’s entry. These are for my therapist. She has to see that I’m trying to cope with my dads death before I can stop seeing him everywhere. I sign the page with a soft, “Sincerely, Me” and a paw. Suddenly, my mom came into my room and looked at me, “Kat, come on. We’re going somewhere.” My heart dropped when she said that and I cautiously stood up. My mother suddenly taking me somewhere was never a good thing. Her last good decision was my little brother Andrew...
