Epilouge:

I'm Reagon Farris and i'm sixteen years old. My parents were killed by vampires years ago which I still claim is my fault. Tyler is my big brother and he watches after me, I also have a little sister named Eliza but everybody calles her Scar from the large cut she has all the way across her cheek to her chin that she got when our parents died.
I have a very close friend named Jessie who plays with me and help's me overcome problems. Hawk, Sarri, Louis, and Xavier are some of the kids in my pack. Their annoying. Escpically Louis who likes to pretend he is the leader. It's silly.
I promised to take care of my people and to stand my ground. Which I will do until I'm dead.

Chapter 1
I walked down the dusty steps toward the garden, which I tended to. Dandelions sprouted on lumps of dirt, Daises covered most of the ground, and Roses comforted the yard.
The trees engraved the surrondings and bushes ran along the side. Hawk walked off into the mist inside the woods. He was more the adventurest type, sometimes I would see him stroll into the forrest after lunch.
He looked behind his back and saw me, but that didn't stop him, he kept on walking. Sometimes he worried me.

I stood there plainly watching Hawk walk away, he had pouring black eyes and black hair running down his face. His skin was white as snow, like a vampires. Jessie came walking by, her long brown hair was in braids and hanging behind her back. Her eyes twinkled in the sunlight, a beautiful blue. "What are you doing?" she called to me, a smirk flooding her face.
"Tending to mom's garden" she frowned and kept walking towards me. "You spend too much of your time wondering about in her garden. You need to run a little more, and forget about what happened Reagon, because it's happened and it's history" Jessie must have been really serious. Maybe I should think a little less about them.
"I'm sorry, Jessie, it's just there's a part of me still attached to them" Jessie squated down by me and put her arm around my shoulders. She was gentle and sweet, she really thought about me and my safety. She was a good friend.
I stared at the Roses. Mother's favorite. They swerved in the wind and glistened in the rays of sunlight. Jessie was staring at them to, feeling the same as I did. She loved my parent's and tried to do everything to protect them.
I felt sorry for Jessie because she lost good friends too. They were her second parents and my home was her second home. We spent so much time together that she called my place her home.

Chapter 2
Tyler transformed into a wolf and sat on the huge cliff. He was so beautiful, his gray fur stood straight on his back. His blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight which shone brightly. I hadn't transformed yet but it wouldn't be long till the wolves descended.
Hawk, Sarri, and Louis were playing around, wrestling in the grass. Their fur was white and gray like their mother's. I went to go break up the wrestling when I decided they weren't really killing eachother. Their boys, and boys will be boys.
I ignored them and kept on walking to see about the others. Tyler was trotting over to me, his graceful walk was pretty. His pink tongue hung out of his muzzle as he nudged me. I stroked his neck gentley and rubbed his back as if he were my dog.
I started to transform, I could feel my canines prutruting through my gums and my hair start to grow down my legs. I could feel the hair covering my skin and my snout began to grow. The transformation was painless but it was annoying having for it to happen every night. My muzzle was growing over my lips and my teeth pulled harder.
I dropped on all fours and followed Tyler through the valley. The wolves were all together in a big mob all around. Some were red, some white with gray, and then some all white, but I was different. I was all black. But my eyes were blazing blue like the indigo sky.
I howled and waited for the others to copy me, it was a gathering howl which I have to do every night when a full moon approaches.
Eliza finally gathered around and sat beside Tyler, who was in the front row as usual. The wrestling boys were in the back, not paying any attention to me or the others.
"BOYS!" I howled, they still turned their backs on me. I tried to ignore them but it's hard not to notice dogs wrestling in the corner of your eye. "We shall hunt for the night and be aware of any vampires lurking," they nodded their heads and turned away into the forrest.
I ran with them, trying to catch up to Tyler. He ran so fast he was a blur in the night. The others blocked my way from him and I struggled to break into the crowd. I felt a hard tug on my tail and yelped. It was only Eliza. "Wait up Reagon, your so fast!" she was running as fast as her little legs could take her and was still behind. I slowed down a little to talk to her.
"I'm so little and I can't run!" she said, her head kept towards the woods. Her paws pounded against the earth rapidly. Eliza was a majestic white with a gray spot on her face. She spotted a rabbit and ran after it, leaving me behind for once.

I chewed the meat of a deer quietly, hoping no one would notice my hunk of meat. Blood dripped from my muzzle and landed on the fur. The meat and blood flooded my mouth as I clamped down. Yummy.
The meat was all gone as I licked my lips. I wasn't starving anymore. My stomach was full and the taste of blood stained my tongue. I sniffed the air, hoping I would catch the wolves scent. Nothing. No scent of them anywhere, but I could smell something strange, something bitter, and evil, the scent drifted into my nostrils. I recognized the horrible scent. Vampires.

Chapter 3
I followed the scent and located it right away, the cliff. I shifted my way to the cliff and found three vampires sitting on it, looking as if they had nothing to do.
"We have been waiting for you" one of them cocked his head and smiled as if this were a game. "You silly child, your pack is gone and only you are here, and don't try to run away because were faster and stronger than you'll ever be" I growled deeply and listened to their talk.
"Your brother is in a mess right now and we have come to give you a warning. We want this land and you have to hand it over or else bad things will occur to your family. Oh wait, you don't have a family anymore," now my blood was boiling and I was raging with fury, their threatning my brother. I scampered towards them like a bull and aimed at one of them.
They ducked and ran out of my way. One grabbed me by the scruff and threw me out into the open. I yelped and kept on going, they weren't going to kill Tyler and I was sure of it.
Somehow one of them seemed to have read my mind, "Were not going to kill Tyler but keep him where he is" I howled for the others and hoped they would come. I saw a tiny figure emerge from the woods. Eliza. No! Eliza's too little, she will never be able to protect me!
I dodged the vampires and ran to Eliza, who was shaking uncontrollably. Shock flooded her eyes and "Help me!" was written all over her face.
"Eliza go and tell the others to help!" she understood and ran back into the woods, wordless. "STOP HER!" one of the vampires said but I stopped them and ran into the woods after Eliza who wasn't even halfway there. "ELIZA RUN!!!" I screamed, she didn't think twice and already she was tripping over her own paws.
I jumped for her but the vampire who was bald and had a black cloak on, stopped me, his black nails digging into my fur.
I screamed and tried to get away, my brain rattled inside my head. I felt dizzy and light headed. Everything turned blurry then black.

Chapter 4
I opened my eyes a little and found myself lying in bed at home. Tyler was bending over me, a washcloth in his hand. He pressed it against my head softly and smiled, I flickered my eyes over to Eliza who was sitting in a big chair in my room.
"Are you O.K.?" Tyler asked me, he put his hand over my head and shook his head a little. "You feel hotter than normal," he frowned and gave me a warm hug.
I needed it. Love. Warmth. Meat. My stomach growled and Tyler giggled a little, his face was pale and his eyes lost there shine. "You should sleep in today and leave it up to me to dismiss the pack tonight" he strolled into my bathroom and wet the cloth a little more.
I could always trust Tyler with
