Peter was sitting in a tree in Neverland playing his flute while laying back against the rough bark of the tree, it was a beautiful day out and it was just on the brink of turning into nighttime. Kahlea, one of the Lost Girls, a group that Peter now made up to give the Lost Boys someone else to talk with besides him was sitting underneath the tree that he was in playing with her pet ferret Steve.
Wendy was back at her house in London in the nursury telling her brothers her usual stories and changing them up a bit to make them more interesting to them before bed. Peter soon stopped his playing and sat there for a while, listening to Kahlea play with her ferret who was making squeeks as he played to show how happy he was.
"Where is Tinkerbell Kahlea?" Peter asked her while he looked down. Kahlea shrugged, not bothering to take her eyes off of Steve as she said "I don't know, she was here a moment ago then she took off somewhere," she laughed when Steve cought the string she was dangeling infront of him. Peter sighed, he hated it when Tink left without telling him where she was going, so deciding on if he should find her or not, he leaped out of the tree with the descision to find her then go to Wendy's house and see what story she was telling tonight. Peter looked at Kahlea and said "Care to watch the hideout for me? I need to go find her then Tink and I will be leaving for a little bit." Kahlea just nodded without saying a word, she wasn't much of a talker.
Wendy was halfway into her story when her mother called her and her brothers down for dinner so she didn't really get to finish it before she headed down. Peter, who soon found Tinkerbell at the fairy ball rounded her up and told her that they were leaving now to go listen to Wendy's stories. Tink smiled with joy and followed him eagerly as he took off to London. After dinner, Wendy's aunt who was visiting called her over to her so she could appraise Wendy, and with a little bit of bashfullness and the slight laughing of her brothers, Wendy obayed and walked up to her aunt, spinning in a circle when she told her to then stopping. Wendy's aunt smiled and said "Ah, just as I thought, Wendy posseses a hidden kiss," Wendy backed up shocked, her reaction however was followed by everyone else and her aunt said "Have you not noticed? Right there in the right hand cornor of her mouth," she pointed to the spot and Wendy, feeling where her aunt pointed just stood there baffled and she thought me have a hidden kiss?
she couldn't bealieve what her aunt was telling her. After a while, her parents sent her and her brothers back up to their rooms to get ready for bed, but without their knowing so, they waited outside of the doorway as their parents and aunt talked.
"Wendy is becoming a woman now, she needs to be spending less time with her brothers and more time with me, she needs to leave that nursury and have a room of her own," Micheal, Wendy's younger brother said "Leave the nur..." but his mouth was covered by John to shush him up before they were caught. Wendy and her brothers walked up to the nursury with their heads bowed, they still could not bealieve it that Wendy had to leave the nursury, Wendy couldn't bealieve it herself, to her, the nursury was all that she was, all that she enjoyed, she couldn't possibly see herself being without it or her brothers. When they made it up to their rooms, Wendy finished her stories before Nana, their Saint Bernard nurse came in and ushered them all back into bed before leaving the room for their mother to come in and tuck them in and turn on their nightlights. When Micheal was in bed, he said "Mother, do you really have to leave for the party? Can't father go by himself for once?" this was followed by the same question from Wendy and John. Their mother only smiled and said "Your father go by himself? I could never let him do such a thing, besides, he will need a special kiss for this night, he is after all a brave man," Wendy who stayed in her bed said doubtfully "Father? Brave?" her mother looked at her and said "Wendy, there are all types of bravery, granted your father never weilded a gun or a sword thank heavens, but he is brave because he does everything for his family despite his dreams which he puts away every night," and Micheal, who was on her lap said "Where does he put them mother?" and she smiled down at him and said "He places them in a drawer, and every night when he can't get to sleep he takes them out and admires them, and even though he knew he could still follow them, he still places them back into the drawer and each night it get's harder and harder to close it, but he does and that is why he is brave," she finished her tale and placed them all back in bed before she turned off the light and left the nightlights glowing as she closed the door. Peter, who was outside of their window was listening in to the whole thing, and when he seen that their parents were gone and their nurse was fast asleep, he flew in through the open window and was floating above Wendy, he looked down at her with wide amazement and after a while, Wendy soon woke up to see him there and she freaked which caught him off guard and he flew to a wall which woke Nana up who ran at him barking. Peter, seeing the dog comming at him took to the air once more and went out the window, however Nana managed to grab hold of his shadow and hung on as Peter came slingshotting back and making the window close which cut his shadow off and sent it slamming against the wall while he flew away. Wendy, who had fallen out of bed ran to the window while her brothers still remained asleep despited Nana's barking and clawing at the wall the shadow went up to and chasing it into a drawer in the hallway. When she scouted the ground she immediatly ran to a drawer and grabbing a match and candle lit the candle and went out on the ground and looked for the body of the boy, but what surprised her was the absence of the body and she looked up in time to see a odd shooting star shoot up into the sky instead of going across it.
