White Wolf : Howl To The Moon(Prologue)

Prologue

Lucas

London September 18, year unknown

For some reason, I've found myself outside away from the safety of my little den in the woods. I can't make myself go back though, even though I'm a bit scared. I've never been on my own before out this late, and I see why. The streets of London are really misty and sometimes I swear I can see shapes in the gloom.

Kyle once told me this place was called, Mortuus veneficas Grave? I shiver and try to be strong, I want to turn back but instead something keeps me pressing deeper in to the area of the Dead Witches Grave.

I don't know how much longer I can keep walking, it's like the further I go into this place the more I feel the need to run. I decide to...I'm going to turn and run...but as my body readies itself I hear something.

I stand still my ears straining, please don't be a ....anything bad.

I'm scared.

I decide to count to five...if I don't hear it again...I'm going to run.

One...two...three...four...f -

I hear it....it...it sounds like a baby crying.

It might be a trick...someone might be here...but I can't run...my body steps forward toward where I heard the sound.

I'm normally very strong and I don't scare easily but still this place...it's eerie and it makes you see things that you aren't sure are really there or not.

I take a deep breath and keep going.

All I can hear now is the sound of my own breathing.

I can make out a shape up ahead. I stop...waiting for it to move...it doesn't so I cautiously creep forward.

It's a blanket lined box and in it is a little baby. She was tiny with her little hands and body. Her hair was as black as a ravens wings and lips as red as a drop of spilled blood in snow and her eye colour when she looks at him was a shocking violent violet color.

Who put her here?

I scant he area around us again in case it is a trap...but I see no one.

I pick her up feeling sparks shoot up my arms to my heart. She snuggles happily in my small arms, she smells like me. Wolf But she has something different mixed with it...something I've only smelt once before.... magic. The smell of magic is like a hit of raspberry with a type of gold to silver dust that always tickle my nose. But this baby smelled...different...

When I press my nose to her chubby face I smell a shocking smell of cinnamon, nutmeg with a hit of mint, but a strong wave of a smell of raspberry and the ocean waters.

I look down at her again and my heart thuds in my tiny chest...she is my mate. I may be four years old, but I am very smart for my age to know this baby is mine.

White Wolf: Howl To The Moon [1]

Chapter 1

Twelve years

I was running in the woods through the leaves, heaving air in my lungs as I run. Currently I am the prey and my predator is Lucas, Lucas Gray. Luc, as I like to call him, said that he found me when I was only two years of age on a note and that said my name was Rage. He was only four years old when he found me, living in a shed hidden in deep in the woods with only animals surronding us. We live alone, except fr when Kyle , a rouge friend of ours who some times live with us.

Hearing a growl behind me, I didn't turn back to look at how close Luc was, but ran faster than before. Running. Running is a thing I do everyday, well Lucas make sure I run yo help with my flexibility and blah, blah, blah. I stoped listening to Luc after a why while he rant about stuff.

Sharply I turn my head to the right side and cock my head towards the direction I hear the rusle of bushes and leaves. Turning around I notice that I am directly in the heart of the woods, where all the flowers and trees grow even massive, than at the end of the woods.

Being the distracted one I am, Luc took the chance and pounced on me. Shifting over me was a very naked fourteen year old Luc.

"Eww! Luc get off!"At twelve years old I did not want to see the males anatomy, expeccially my best friend and my closes person to a brother to me.

"Bunny Wappit you, know you like my sexy abs. Stop dening it, Bunny."said Luc who is no longer hovering above me, but going behind a tree to get a pair of shorts to put on.

"Oh, please! Lucas I have seen way better abs than yours."

Lucas head snap back at me so fast, I surprise he didn't get whip lashed.

"You are Mine! "His eyes were black as night, as the same time he shifted in a huge stark black wolf on his fourteenth birthday. I went to step back, but it was like a force was pulling me towards him. Steping towards him I wrap my arms around his neck and put my head in the crock of his neck as he breath in my scent. When I made a move to step back he tighten his hold before relaxing it.

" Let me hold you for al little while longer. Please. My wolf he... um... my wolf likes your

scent."

"Ok."I said holding onto Luc tighter than before. Relaxing his arms around me, he alouded me to step back a bit.

"Rage, you are Mine. Never forget that. When you come of age I will claim you as mine." Said a calm and overly cofident wolf of Lucas. I will show him if I am theirs. Little did I know I was really theirs.

"Whatever you say, Maxwell." I said directing my words not to Luc, but Maxwell, Lucas's wolf.

"Good. Come on, Bunny. As your now going to skip to grades to mine you better learn my work. Come on we have school tommorrow." That is the Luc I know. Lucas is usally calm and reserved, but when he is mad you better put some pep in your step as my only friend Angie says.

Walking in the woods togeather we head home, but little did we know was that Inwas due to shift that night.
