Chapter 01

Chapter one

Moving in with Leone

The ride to my mother's fiance's house was quiet and awkward. My gaze was transfixed to the window where the tree's blurred as my mom pushed faster, too eager to see her 'fiance'. I rolled my eyes at her eagerness.

It was yesterday when I got back from school and saw my mom packing all our stuff then I freaked out- Of course I would freak out! I left my home with my room all intact and when I got back no single item was left. Na-da! All that was left was a thumbtack ,that maybe fell from my poster, and Istepped on it! Now spell clumsy: A-U-D-R-I-N-A. Could that day get any more worser?

Apparently yes. My mom let out the big BOMB! She's getting married! Yup, married! "Married?" I squeaked.

"Yes! Aren't you happy for me?" She squealed and open her arms like I was going to hug her and say 'Congratulations! And I'm not mad at you for telling me this now'.

I stood motionless on the landing of the stairs. In a way, I was happy for her when I saw her smile like that. I've never seen that smile since dad left us when I was eight but of course there was a part of me that was angry because she cant just say that she's getting married and let alone moving out from our house.

"Of course I'm happy! I mean- It's just marriage, right? And moving out from our house? Of course I am. I'm so ecstatic!" I replied sarcasticaly.

My mother's face fell and I instantly regret saying that. She sighed and said in a low voice, "I knew you would be like that so of course I came prepared," She said.

I raised an eyebrow and stared at her curiously. "What is it?" I asked, the curiousity in my voice was hard to hide and mom grinned, knowing that what she have will make me change my mind.

She held out a piece of paper and grinned wickedly, "I bet this will change your mind," she said cockily.

I shook my head. My mother is crazy. I squinted my eyes and look closely at the paper. I gasp! There, in a bold letter, was Adele's concert ticket! (A/N: It can be any band that you like. If you don't like Adele, that is. XD )

My eyes nearly jumped out of it's socket but I thought crossed my mind. How dare my mother bribe me? Does she think I'd stoop that low just to be happy for her marrying some man that I've never actually met? That was so sad.

"Mom! How could you?!" I said accusingly, horrified to what she did.

"What? You don't want it?" She asked, her hands lowered slowly.

"Of course-" I scoffed and took a step closer to her, "I want it!" I exclaimed. snatching it from her hands. It was now me and this ticket. I stared at it with awe and excitement. I was having my own moment when it was snatched out of my hands.

"You'll only be getting this when we already move in Leone's house."

Aaaand that explains why I'm here. In a car. On the way to Arizona, Phoenix. I was so absorbed in my own thought that I was startled when the door, that I was leaning in, opened. The world flipped and with a 'oomph' I carashed in the wet pavement.

I opened my eyes and in front of me was a pair of boots.

"Oh my- I'm terribly sorry!" A deep voice exclaimed and suddenly a pair of hands helped me to stand up.

"It's okay," I assured him. Dusting the snow off my brown parka. I looked up to see a man with a broad shoulder, his gray eyes was piercing, and the aura around him radiates with authority. I've never seen someone intimidating as him. I smiled awkwardly.

"Leone!" My mom approached him and gave him a hug.

"Wait- What? You're Leone?" I asked.

He nodded. "And you must be Audrina Bliss?" He asked, still hugging MY mother to his side and speaking of my mom who is staring at him like he is God.

He chuckled when I just frown in acknowledgement. "So, I see there's no chance of you calling me dad," he said hopefully.

I look at him as if he was retarded or something. My tongue backed out and no words came out. I turned to my mom with a frown still on my face. I cleared my throat as I put on my business face, "Where's my room?" My mom was still staring at him. I cleared my throat louder this time.

She seemed to snapped out of it. "Uhh, wait. Why don't you wait inside?" She said, still disoriented.

I turned my back on them and my jaw dropped. The house was big- wait, no. Scratch that! It was ginormous! Like the White House- okay, maybe not as big as the white house but close enough. I wonder why I didn't noticed it when I stepped out. Oh! Because I didn't stepped, I fell.

"Why don't we come inside?" Leone said, gesturing inside.

"Is this your house?" I asked then realized what's wrong with the question. "You know what? Don't answer that." I snapped quickly before he could reply.

"Sorry for the way she's acting Leo. She's not feeling well." My mom made up.

"It;s okay," he said, smiling at me. I couldn't help but to smile back. His intention towards us seems good but it'll take months for him to prove that.

**

The only thing that brought a big smile to my lips was my new room. It was big! I think all of the things in this house is big! I remember screaming when I saw a huge painting at the stairs, it was ancient, like it was staring at you everywhere you go.

The funny thing about being a teenager is that your hapiness can be so shallow that you nearly forgive your mother for marrying a man named Leone.

My room was- as I said earlier, big and I have my own bathroom. It was awesome! It has it's own jacuzzi. I explored the room further and I saw a big white door. I slid it open and what I saw made me almost barf. It was a room full of shoes. Not just shoes, the pointy ones. With heels! Jessa Kris! (A/N: Actually that was Jesu* Chris* but I feel bad using it. hehe) What the hell is wrong with the people who thought of this?! Ok, maybe the problem has something to do with me . . . Yeah, it's me.

"Audry?!" My mom shouted from the door but from where I stand it was almost faint. That, is how big my room is.

"Yes, mom?!" I shouted back.

"Silly me. You should go come downstairs and meet the whole family." I turn around, my mother was on the doorway.

"Yeah, okay."

"See you!" She chirped and she actually skipped her way outside.

There was nothing to do more here in my room, walking downstairs was tiring and I nearly got lost. Cursing softly, I eenie-minnie-miny-moo directions and the one I choose was, thankfully, the right way.

I saw my mom and Leone waiting inside the living room. Both smiled at me when I took my seat. Minutes later the door burst open revealing hundreds- okay, not hundreds, I really tend to exaggerate, of guys. HOT guys.

After the chattering died down, they sat in one of the chairs and the others stood. They were like staright from a magazine and they were tall and buff!

I didn't even payed attention to what they were saying, I was busy ogling them and I realized that only eight of them were left and they were grinning at me like a retard.

What is this? A gangbang? I thought.

They burst out laughing, holding their stomach. I frown then I realized I just said that out loud! My cheeks flushed from embarrassment and when the laughter died down I muttered, "Awkward."

"Welcome to the family, sister!" They chirped.

And I think I just died of embarrassment.

---------------

The last part was kind of crappy, huh?

Oh my gee! I f*cking love Sylvester Stallone, even though he's so old! hahaha
