Rose Petals.

Tap, tap, tap …. she opens her eyes from dreaming!

β€œWhat's that tapping sound? Could it be rain? Hmmmm! Oh no, I don't think so” She thinks to herself, she turns around to see what it was.

Someone is looking through her window... she saw a beautiful Angel looking through her bedroom window β€œWho is that!?” As she gets up the Angel quickly flies away. She tries to run to reach it, but it was too late. The Angel was gone.....

She continued this every night.... she would wait for the Angel to appear, to get a good look at it. Then the same thing would happen everything she would run after it, it would already be gone.

She tried her best to remember the Angel, what it looked like... but all she could remember was it's beautiful smile. β€œWho is this Angel? Why is it looking through my window every night?”

Even while she was asleep, dreaming she could feel someone holding her, in a way that somehow she was being protected.

One night she lay in a field of roses that was just outside her house, a tear gently rolled down her cheek and landed on one of the roses. β€œWhy are you crying?” She quickly stood up and looked left and right.

β€œWho's there? Show yourself!”

The voice replied β€œOh don't be frightened child, I wont hurt you”

She looked down and noticed the voice was coming from inside the roses β€œShow yourself, I'm not afraid.”

The voice replied, β€œYou're looking right at me.” She was now looking confused. β€œAre you a- a ro- rose?”

β€œYes I am, and I'd like to know why you're crying”

β€œOh I didn't know that roses were able to speak!”

β€œYes we can, there's lots of things you don't know. I won't be able to help you unless you tell me why you're crying,”

She sat back on the ground, then looked down to her feet took a deep breath then said, β€œWell, every night an Angel comes to my bedroom window and looks into my room, I'm not sure why. I try to run towards it, to get a better looked at it but when I'm finally outside. It's gone, I'll never know who it is.”

She started to cry again, β€œDon't cry, come and whisper to me what's the thing you'd like me to help you with and I'll grant it for you” She looked at the rose, then wiped away her tears.

β€œI could ask you for anything?”

β€œAnything you wish”

β€œBut what would you want in return?”

β€œOh, nothing. A rose symbolises love and compassion and I'm presenting my love and compassion for you my dear, now tell me”

β€œOh, thank you very much” She leans down towards the rose then whispers her request in a song 'Rose Petals, will you how me the way? Will you lead me to the Angel that watches over me every night? Would you help me find the one who's keeping me safe from harm?'

She got up off the ground then headed to her bedroom, suddenly feeling somehow sleepy. She lay in her bed and closed her eyes, quickly falling into a deep sleep. When she opened her eyes she looked out her window to see the Angel, she got up quickly and ran out to the field of roses, the Angel was gone.

She looked at the ground to see a trail of rose petals making a path for her to follow. (As the Angel flew away the roses made a path following it so she was able to find who it was)

She followed the path of rose petals until she reached the end, she felt the presence of someone beautiful, she opened her eyes very wide then heard, β€œJade?” She turned around then, There stood behind her the most beautiful thing she had ever laid eyes on, it was her brother, he died from an illness.

He came back to protect his sister from harm, because whiles she's asleep at night, she's unable to protect herself.
