Chapter 1

The wild flowers smell is overpowering. There is a soft neigh in a great distance away.Dust swirls around the thunderous hoofs pounding the rocky earth.Hundreds of weary eyes ready to bolt at any moment. One of them with stormy grey eyes and a dapple grey coat to match...bolts down the path. The pounding gets faster and faster as the herd gets faster and faster. The horse with the stormy grey eyes is and will always be Amataru.

Chapter 2

When the herd started grazing in a lush, vibrant, green meadow where the goats grazed.A young shepherd named Shippo(say it si-po) discovered Amataru and her herd.Shippo is a sweet man and helps out a lot in the west wind tribe.Shippo kept the goats in a different meadow so he didn't scare Amataru's herd.He kept the horses a secret otherwise the hoses would be caught and lose there freedom. He felt like he knew Amataru would get hurt if he told anyone.Amataru felt weary of Shippo, but she didn't see him or knew she was his secret.Three days after she felt weary the herd left, before Shippo got to where she was.

Chapter 3

Thundering hoofs pound the earths brush and sand.Painful, scared neighs echoed in the mountains.Growls, snarls, yips, neighs, and wines echo as well as any other loud sounds would.Sand wolfs were protecting there queen Alana,(say it:A Lane a)because Amataru's herd some how got in the sand wolf pack's territory, and now are fighting to get away from them.1 hour had passed and the wolfs gave up.Amataru's herd wasn't hurt at all. They continued on there way to the lush, vibrant, green meadow again for the plenty of food it provided for Amataru's herd.

Chapter 4

Shippo kept on keeping the goats in the other meadow just in case the horses would come back, and Amataru's herd did.Shippo was happy now that he could watch the horses again and keep an eye on the goats. The meadows were separated by a huge ridge of rock that had formed from a delayed river. The river had formed into two ponds. The two ponds keep the two meadows alive and plentiful of wild onions, wild grass, pond lilys, small rock shelters,(also formed by loose boulders that fell in the river)katniss,(A type of root)wild flowers, and a small amount of creatures.Such as gophers, mice, wild goats, and sheep. As soon as Amataru went into the meadow she felt very weary...she had caught the sent of shippo.

Chapter 5

It had been two days sense they arrived at the meadow.Amataru's wearyness got to be to much,so she left to the mountains of the north.West of the mountain totomica(say it toe-toe-mica)it was three months when Amataru and her herd reached the top of the northern mountains. It had reached summer they only come here when they had been discovered. In the summer it is a time of plenty everywhere. In the winter there is only two places where there is abundance of food, those places is the meadows. Here on the northern mountains grows wild grass, wild onions, katniss, blackberrys, razzberrys,
tomatoes, snowberrys, some mountain goats, and some mountain sheep. They stayed there until fall. Then Amataru and her herd left to the meadow in search of plenty food to keep her herd alive.
