big jaw. The other man with the gun was big and muscler, and had a mustache. He had green eyes, and red hair. They looked like they were both in their 30’s.
The man with the gun looked at me, and said “Well hello miss Rose. I’m…...Ryan, and this is….”
The other one spoke up “My name is Dan”.
“What do you want?” I asked.
They both chuckled.
Dan whispered in Ryan's ear.
Ryan turned to look at me “What’s your name again?” He said.
“Sammie Rose” I said.
He studied me closely.
He whispered something to Dan.
I strained my ears to hear. He said “She looks just like the girl in the picture, blond hair and blue eyes. Name Samantha Rose. Let’s just take her to him, and see if she’s the right girl.
The other man whispered back “But if she’s not the right girl, we’ll get killed.”
“I know.” Ryan said
They saw me looking and stopped talking to each other. Ryan looked at me, with a grin on his face. He stood up and walked to the back of the van, and sat down beside me. He said “Would you like something to drink?”
“No thanks.” I said. I could see the anger in his eyes. Ryan was infuriated. The next thing I know I’m the van floor panting, while my face stings. It felt like he hit me with a brick.
They were both laughing at me.
All of a sudden, I heard buzzing. It was so loud, I tried to cover my ears, but the buzzing was in my head. I wasn’t aware of anything around me, I was only aware of the pain. My whole body hurt, like I was going through a quick growth spurt. Then I felt something cold touch my face, and everything went black.
“It’s happing!!”Ryan shouted.
“Hurry, give her the antidote!!”I said, Covering my ears from Samantha’s screaming. She was lying on the van floor covering her ears also.
Ryan grabbed the bottled antidote, and tried to shove it in her mouth. “I can’t do it on my own! She won’t stay still!”
I got down beside Ryan, and took the antidote. “All she needs to do is breathe it in! Grab her arms!” I told Ryan. I poured some on a napkin nearby, and pressed it to her mouth. Her whole body went limp, but we were too late.
“She’s a shape shifter.” I said, astonished.
She was changing forms in my arms. She had turned into a wolf.
When I awoke, I was in a dark room. As my eyes adjusted to the dim light, I saw the outline of a man sitting in front of me. It was too dark to see his face.
Suddenly, I was more awake. The man in front of me was watching me. There 3 more people in the room. It looked like 2 teenage girls and a teenage boy. It looked like the man in front of me was waiting for me to wake up.
“Good, your awake.” said the man. He had a small accent, but I don’t know what kind. “Ok, let’s get on with it, shall we.”
“My name is John.” he said. “Do you mind telling me yours?”
It felt like the question hit me in the face. I couldn't remember. Why can’t I remember? Very slowly all my memories slipped away. All of them, gone. How did I get here? Who are all these people? Who am I?
“Do you remember your name?” John asked us. We said nothing. Probably, we were all thinking the same thing. “Great. That’s ok; I’ll just have to look for them in my office.”
Something wasn’t right about this guy. It was like he was hiding something. I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then again, it’s kind of hard when you have no memory.
John stood up, and walked into the darkness.
The boy in the room, moaned. “Does anyone know where were at?” the boy said. Now that my eyes adjusted, I could see everyone a little better. The boy had black hair and dark black eyes, the girl sitting beside him had red hair and dark brown eyes, and the other girl had brown hair and light brown eyes.
We all just stared at him.
Confused he said. “What?” then we all came to our senses.
“Why can’t I remember anything?” the red haired girl said.
“Where am I?” the other girl asked.
“Who am I?” I said. They all stared at me. In the silence, I heard footsteps coming toward us. I had the feeling of danger that I needed to run. I didn't know why I felt that way, but I tried my best to hold it in.
When john came back, he had a nasty smile on his face. “Well, turns out, none of you exist.” he said. “So I’ll give you new names.” he looked at red haired girl. “Your name will be J72.” he looked at the boy. “Yours will be T11.” he looked at the other girl. “You will be called A12.” he looked at me. “And you….your name will be S17.”
I personally thought those were weird names. I'm sure they were thinking the same.
“Now, may I talk to you separately?” he didn't wait for our answer. “Okay, you first.” he pointed at me. He gave me an inhumanly smile. My instincts were telling to run to the nearest exit. He gave me don't-try-anything look, like he knew I would try to run.
He helped me stand, but when I got to my feet I instantly fell to the grown. He laughed at me. It was very familiar. He ended up having to carry me, which he wasn't happy about.
He bought me into a dark room, with two chairs. One was a normal chair. The other had straps on it. I had a bad feeling it was for me. And sure enough he sat me down in that chair. I was too weak to protest, while he put the straps around my arms. “Don't move.” he told me when he was done. He went out of the room, which gave me time think of a plan how to get out of here.
As soon as I heard the door they went through close, I stood up. Just like the girl, I feel instantly. I realized how weak I was, like I've been sleeping for days.
“What are you doing?” asked J72. She looked like one of those girls who are always hanging out with guys. She had red hair and eyes so dark; you could have sworn they were black.
“Trying to get out of here! What are you doing?” I said.
She ignored my question. “So….What are you planning?”
“That’s a good question” I said with a small smile. She tried to stand, and before I could tell her no, she fell right beside me.
“What did you do that for?!” I asked her.
“I want to get out to!” she said.
“I’m sure we all do.” said the other girl. I had almost forgotten she was here, because she was so quite. Her name was A12.
“Well I’m not going leave you!” I said. I looked at A12. “And don’t standup!”
“I’m not stupid!” she yelled back.
