"If I hadn't been engaged to her when I loved you...if I hadn't asked her to marry me, none of this would have happened. And I'd still have you." "It's not totally your fault, Daniel. She's selfish and whoreish. And I'm also to blame for this." Daniel got up and took her hands in his."You are not to blame for this at all, Kelci Rich."

He stopped in front of a beautiful modern-looking house. KarrieAnn looked at him. He closed his eyes and whispered something. A gate appeared. He pushed it open easily. He led KarrieAnn to her room and Kelci to hers.

While the girls went to bed, Daniel gazed at the starry sky. He was still young. Still trying to find himself. He knew that. He needed a normal life, normal father, needed Kelci. He knew he had to give himself up, or arrest Christa. He needed to do something to keep Kelci alive. AND keep Christa away from him. "It's all my fault. She just doesn't realize that." he said to himself. He brushed his brown curly hair and climbed into the king size bed. "Danny?" "Kelci, you should sleep. You've had a rough day. Baby, I'll figure something out. I'll save you." "You should just go to her. She hates me." Daniel knew she wouldn't be saying this if she didn't love him. "I can't. I fell in love with another. Besides, she's evil as heck. Kelci, you love me and I love you." She didn't say anything. She blushed. He was on top of her on the bed now.

"Superpassion, baby, is almost as powerful as love. I'm experiencing both right now." he said, kissing her. "I love you so much, honey. Kelci, will you m-mar-marry...me?" he asked. She started to cry. Tears flowed down on the blanket. Now from both of them. "I-I-I'm sorry...Kelci, see you tomorrow." She got up and left. He wished he'd kept his mouth shut. He buried his head in the pillows and sobbed himself to sleep. She buried her head in the pillows and cried. She was confused and upset now. Things we have in common: humor, personality, feelings, curly hair, love, dislike for certain people (KarrieAnn especially). She got up and walked to his room. He was asleep. Or so it seemed. She laid down beside him and kissed him. She felt fresh salty tears from them both. "I should have said yes. I love you." she whispered. Daniel didn't hear a word. He was busy dreaming.

The next day shone bright. Daniel woke up to light shining in his eyes. His stomach felt totally empty. He went downstairs and woke up to eggs, toast, bacon, coffee, milk, orange juice, and syrup. He saw Kelci across the room, testing the gravy in the pot on the stove. She decided she liked it, grabbed hotpads, and picked it up and set it on the counter. He watched her gorgeous hair as it moved around perfectly. "So...Kelci...I...about last night...I..." She kissed him. "So that's a yes?" "Ten times over. I cried because I was happy." "Oh Kelci!" He pulled her close, and they kissed. They would have kissed forever, had not KarrieAnn waltzed in in a beautiful pink dress. "What the heck is going on here?" she snapped. She shoved Kelci out of the way, and stole the rest of the kiss. His lips felt soft, but dry.

KarrieAnn quickly made his plate. He didn't like that. She quickly ate her breakfast, then went upstairs. She applied foundation perfectly, then powder, then a rosy blush, then natural looking eyeshadow with a green tint, then red lipstick complete with lipliner. She realized she'd forgotten eyeliner and mascara, and quickly applied three coats worth of eyeliner, then twenty coats of mascara. She quickly de-clumped it, then thought about her hair. She decided to curl it. She started to read a book called 'How To Catch A Man's Interest In Ten Days Or Less'. It said that men want a sexy body complete with fake Playboy bunny bleach blond hair. KarrieAnn's hair was naturally platinum blond, but she always enhanced it.  Never Before Have I Felt This Way

Daniel held Kelci tightly. He kissed her plump lips once again. She muttered something in Elf.

"What is it?" Daniel asked, pulling back.

Kelci smiled. "Nothing is wrong, love. Kiss me again." she ordered. He did so. He was sure that he would jump off a bridge if she asked him to. They kissed until Daniel heard a noise and looked out the window. Seeing The Psycho, he kissed his wife and turned to face KarrieAnn. l

 

KarrieAnn's eyes turned red for a second before she went crazy. She swung at Kelci. Kelci dodged the attack and swung with her own fists. The fight ensued until Daniel broke them up.
