Werewolves by Kasia (smallest ebook reader TXT) π
Excerpt from the book:
Part One The life of a werewolf is not as easy as it seems. Not all werewolves are born with the curse.
Marie is a small girl that everyone picks on. She is quiet and shy. She doesn't talk at all. Not even if the teachers call on her. Oddly enough though her grades are stait A's. No one knows her story. It is said that her family is dead or that she killed them, but no one knows for sure.

carry me. I ran till I couldn't run anymore. I finally collapsed in a heap near a tree. I knew that I needed a place to hide and rest. I looked around till I noticed that the tree had a little shelter in its roots. I crawled over to the tree to get a better look. What I mistook for a little shelter spot was actually a nice big nest like root cave. I crawled into it and as I lay there just about to fall asleep I hear, "Thus quote the Raven "Nevermore" " I sigh and fall asleep. I woke to a shuffling sound, like someone was sniffing the air and walking around. I peeked over the roots and dropped back down to the nest with a squeak. The noise stopped. Suddenly a furry hand grabbed me and pulled me up out of the roots. I hung in the air staring at a wolfman. "Hmmmm you look very pitiful." It said into my head. I looked at it in shock. "W-w-what!?" I stuttered. "I said you look very pitiful." The wolfman said again. "Oh. Uh. Do you by chance know where my mother and father are?" I asked shyly. "I'm sorry to say this but your mother was killed in the fight, and your father was killed when he tried to flee." The wolfman said with a look of sympathy in its eyes. "Oh." I said on the verge of tears. "I am sorry about what I am going to do. It probably won't help and will most likely hurt the situation but..." The wolfman leaned forward and bit me. The pain was almost unbearable! It was like fire shooting throughout my body, only to turn into a slow smoldering heat that quickly grew in intensity. I screamed. "If you survive this you will be stronger then most, because of your heritage." The wolfman said. "Her...it..age?" It was becoming hard to talk. "Yes. You were born with the curse.... but it was inactive. So by you being bitten it has become active. You now have both types of the curse running through your veins." It said. "R-righ-right." I said about to lose consciousness. "The time you talk again, is the time the curse is complete." It said. "I must go now..... I hope what I have done does help." It said sincerely. It set me down again and ran off. I slowly crawled back to my little nest in the tree roots. Once there I heard, "Nevermore" and I fell asleep.
I came out of the memory with a shock. I gasped and everything became a swirling mass of black and a voice that said,"Well at least we now know how you were turned." After that was said there was a chuckle and then everything turned black. Imprint
