both sides as they glowed red. She gasped as it wrapped a black strap up her arm.
ANice to see you again,A the sword said calmly.

Selene tried to get it off and the immortal charged at her. She made her silver armor appear and growled. It slashed at her as she dodged and stabbed it in the chest. It pushed her back and she flew into a wall as she grunted.
She came running out as her sword started to glow brighter. She broke the immortals sword and chopped off his head. She landed and the straps went back into the sword. She walked up to the immortal and grabbed the orb out of it=s chest.
It glowed silver and she put it into her chest, healing a little. She looked at her sword angrily.
AI thought I=d seen the last of you, Armageddon,A she growled as she glared at the sword.
Demetri walked up and gasped at the sword, and then growled as Calamity appeared at his side.
AI won=t kill you this time or turn you over to the darkness in your heart,A Armageddon said.
She scoffed and made it disappeared as she grabbed Pandora=s box. She walked out of the cave with Demetri behind her.
AI=ll help too,A Demetri said as he grabbed Selene=s shoulder.
She stopped on the water, bangs over her eyes as he stopped too. He looked at her in silence.
AYou can=t, they=ll kill you,A she said as her voice cracked.
He put his hand under her chin and she looked at him sadly.
AI won=t die. I can handle myself,A he said.
She closed her eyes and opened them. They changed as she sighed and touched his chest.
AYou=re not an immortal, a being who cannot die, I amA she said as she looked away.
He sighed and kissed her as she gasped and her eyes widened. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around him as his grasp tightened on her.
ADemetri you are always here for me, but... I have to do this alone. Kill Gail and the immortals by myself,A she thought as she closed her eyes.
They parted and she embraced him. He gasped when she did as her body shook.
AI wish there was a place and a time where we could feel the wind and water on us, a time with no fighting, no war, no conflict,A she said as she cried on his chest.
He embraced her back tightly as his eyes closed, and then opened. He sighed and looked at her as he stroked her hair gently, trying to soothe her.
AThere will be. I=ll take you there when this is all overA he said as his grip tightened.
She nodded and looked at him. He smiled and wiped her tears away as he kissed her again. She moaned as his lips gently brushed against hers, tasting him. They parted and walked away as they began looking for the immortals and Gail, leaving Shin and Sol behind.

AWe=ll be alright,A he said as he gripped her other hand tightly.
They looked at each other in the moonlight. He leaned down and kissed her passionately as she kissed back. He knew that he wouldn't let her get hurt again and would give his life for hers.

Chapter 15

Fight and Gail

Ten years had passed and they had encountered Gail and some other immortals. The immortals did not have the orbs and Selene and Demetri were currently traveling with five immortals. They had fought and wounded Gail on each encounter, but he got stronger every time and Selene was gravely wounded by each time they fought.
It had been five days since the last fight with Gail. Selene was resting in a hut and Demetri was searching with three immortals for food and water. Selene=s hair was to the middle of her back. She was wearing a red Asian like top and black pants, Demetri was wearing a black Asian top with black pants and his hair to the middle of his neck.
Selene opened her eyes and tried to sit up, but a girl immortal, named Gabriel, pushed her back down. Gabriel smiled and sighed as she wiped the sweat off Selene=s head.
AYou shouldn=t move. We are immortals, but are injuries need time to heal,A Gabriel said as she smiled.
Selene didn=t talk as she stared at the ceiling and her hand clenched the bed tightly at the pain. Demetri felt it, but ignored it and continued the search for food and water. He and Selene were not speaking to each other. Ever since she had gotten wounded and after having a fight with him, he seemed distant. Selene closed her eyes and turned her head as Gabriel left.
She growled as she remembered the fight she had with him, how painful the words he had said to her had been. He had said he didn=t love her any longer, that he wished that she would die. She had hoped that the words he had said were a lie, but her heart ached so much.
AHe probably would be better off if I did die. I never listen to him, I=m so focused on finding Gail,A she thought sadly.

She sighed and sat up as she gripped her wound in her stomach and the throbbing one on her chest. She grabbed a stick as she stood up and walked slowly out of the hut. Gabriel and the other one were nowhere to be found and she walked toward a hill to watch the sunset. Tears fell down her face as she remembered the fight, it was still so clear.
They were carrying her into the hut to treat her wounds. Demetri was by her side and gripping her hand tightly, worried sick about her. She forced him out of the way when Gail had struck, piercing her chest and stomach as he had watched in horror when she hit the ground. Three hours passed and the immortals left as she opened her eyes and looked at him.
She remembered the words of worry that came from him, she had brushed them aside.
AI have to find Gail again so I can kill him,A she had said, ignoring his pleas to not go.
She pushed him aside and he looked at her as she growled at him and sat up wincing.
ASelene you=re too injured to go, rest,A he said as he walked up to her.
She pushed him away, anger and love in her eyes. He gasped as he saw that in her eyes. He backed up, shock and anger on his face.
AI have to find him, kill him. HE TOOK EVERYTHING I HAD AWAY FROM ME THE DAY HE TOOK ME!@ She shouted.
He gasped as she said that. His eyes grew angry and shocked more as his body shook.
ASelene he didn=t...@ he couldn’t finish, afraid of the answer.
She closed her eyes and looked away as her hands clenched, her body trembling. He stepped back, fear and worry in his face and eyes.
AHe... he did Demetri, Gail slept with me,@ she said sadly as her voice cracked.
Demetri imagined that, then got even more angry and hit a wall, breaking it.
AWHY THE HELL DIDN=T YOU TELL ME!@ He shouted, anger coursing through him.
Because of Gail or her refusal to tell him something so important he didn't know. She looked away still, her voice calm when she spoke as it cracked here and there.
AI... I grew to love him.... just a little... it was either that or he would kill you. I couldn’t bare that happening, so... I had to do sleep with him Demetri,A she said, trembling more at the night.
Demetri didn=t speak for a moment, either from shock or from the consuming anger taking him over he didn’t know. He was calm when he spoke, his eyes full of anger and betrayal.

@If you loved him, then I will never look at you the same. I don=t love you any longer Selene. You are dead to me forever. I wouldn’t care if you died right now!A he said angrily.
Selene didn=t speak. He growled and left, stomping off to find food and water with the immortals.
The memory faded and Selene opened her eyes. She wiped the tears away as she stood up and walked down the hill.
AI=ll leave then, if he doesn’t love me any longer. I'll find someone else,A she said.
Two hours passed and she was deep in a forest, she coughed up blood and gripped a tree tightly as her body shook.
ANo... my wounds have reopened!A she thought, her eyes getting hazy from the loss of blood.
Demetri had returned to the camp with food and water. He looked at the hut Selene had left, not knowing she was gone and scoffed as he sat down.
AI=ll take some food to her,A Gabriel said as she grabbed some food and water.
She walked toward the hut and felt something wasn=t right. She walked inside and gasped, dropping the food and water.
AShe=s gone!A she said, running out of the hut.
Demetri didn=t speak as she growled and grabbed a sword. Demetri glanced at her and sighed as he closed his eyes.
AShe=s not in danger. I would have felt it, she just needs time to cool off and then she=ll come back,A he said.
Selene was gripping her wound, and then she heard something snap and spun around. There were five demons in front of her, growling with hunger as saliva dripped from their mouths. She gasped and started running as she tried to ignore the pain. One bit her leg as she yelped and kicked it off. They were catching up.
She gasped as she tripped over a root and fell to the ground. Her wound started bleeding badly. She heard growling and looked back as she gasped, eyes wide. The demons were walking up to her, but she couldn’t speak, scared and fearful for her life.
One jumped up and the others followed. She screamed loudly as one demon’s teeth bit into her arm. Demetri was still eating and stood up, walking toward the hut when he heard her terrified and painful scream. His eyes widened as he gasped and he ran into the forest.
He looked at his body and got puzzled. The others stopped and let him go on.

AWhy am I not feeling any pain?! I should be if she screamed!@ He whispered in worry and fear.
He ran faster, jumping over a rock and landed. He got up and ran faster, his breath labored as his legs carried him farther.
ASelene,A he thought sadly as he remembered the fight.
Selene was unconscious as the demons chewing on her arm, leg, and stomach. Demetri burst through some trees and gasped as his eyes widened, stopping in his tracks. In front of him were five demons eating at something. He growled and pulled out his sword angrily.
AOut of the way!@ He shouted as he killed them in one sweep, and then making his sword disappear.
He gasped as he went to his knees. In front of him was Selene, his Selene was covered in blood. She had blood seeping out of her chest, stomach wound, her arm had a hole in it, and her neck had a bite mark in it.
ASELENE!@ He shouted as he rushed toward her.
He held her bloody, torn body in his arms. Tears
