We went back into the peaceful silent. I enjoyed his emotions for me and I tried to return them but I was never good with emotions and shit.

โ I donโt want to be here anymore. I want to go see the king now.โ I tell him, yawning after I said it.
โ Weโll be leaving this place soon, Nina, so donโt worry about it. Now go to sleep.โ he whispers to me and he moves my head to a pillow and then embraces me from behind so that weโre laying down together in a spoon position. I fit perfectly into him.
โ Marco?โ
โ Yes?โ
โ We will see the king next, right?โ I ask because I was curious to know if a freaking king could really be my father. I was definitely doubting it though.
โ Yes, Nina, weโre going to see the king next. Weโll be leaving a day or two after youโre rested up and completely back to normal.โ he whispers to me.
I nod, satisfied with his answer.
โ Now go to sleep because Iโm tired too.โ He yawns out.
I close my eyes smiling, for once, doing as my changeling said. I couldnโt wait to get out of here, where nothing but trouble seemed to follow me. I began to enjoy this small, happy moment as much as I could before my freaking life went back to normal. I enjoyed this moment because I had a feeling not many of them would be given to me in the next few months, maybe years.

And I fell to sleep smiling, consuming the making of this peaceful, comfortable, blissful day, which wasโฆ
