I’m so sorry I’m so sorry” my mom cried.
“Mom listen” she looked at me.
I gave one of my rare happy smiles.
“You don’t need to cry. I’m safe” I whispered cause I was so weak from blood loss.
My dad and Josh came running over to me.
I kept my happy smile on my face.
“I’m alive” I said then my smile faded and I fainted.
I woke up in a hospital room. I looked around and saw my family sitting. It looked as if they’ve been crying.
“why has my family been crying? Has someone been picking on you? Tell me who it is and I’ll beat the crap out of them” I joked. They all rushed to me.
“We thought you died when you fainted” Josh said.
“Well I’m very much alive thank you very much”
“The doctors said it would take a miracle for you to live through surgery because you lost all that blood”
“It wasn’t a miracle that I’m still alive. Didn’t the doctors tell you?”
“tell us what?” My dad asked.
“I was pretending to be asleep and I overheard the doctors they said ‘she’s very lucky. Any more blood loss and she would have been dead. It’s a good thing she knew how to stop the flow of her blood or else she would have been dead before she got here’”
“Wait you stopped your blood flow. How?”
“I kept on fainting so when I did I pretend to shut down my whole body and hibernate and apparently it worked”
“See you do learn from those nature shows” my mom said. We all laughed and my family was back together. Imprint
