up and many of the people had left. Cinque found out that Black Jack was now the head governor of the gang. They met at his apartment.
β€œI am honored to meet you,” Black Jack said respectfully to Cinque.
β€œPops talked about you all the time,” he continued.
β€œThis is Malik, John’s brother,” Cinque said.
β€œWhat happened to John?” Malik asked.
β€œI wasn’t there, but I was told that the feds raided one of our storage spots, grabbed our goods and arrested John. We called the federal joint downtown, but he wasn’t there, they only told us that he had been taken by the army somewhere, they said they didn’t where he was.”
β€œHow is your supply?” Malik asked.
β€œEven with the raid, we are still good; we have the goods stashed all over the country. We got enough to last about two year.”
Malik thanked him for the information and they left.
β€œWhat you think is up boss?” Cinque asked.
β€œI don’t know, hopefully, Carl can find out something,” Malik answered.
The following week Malik called Carl and they met at his office.
β€œI made some inquiries and I have found out that your brother was being held as a terrorist under the Patriot Act and he was killed trying to escape from the U.S. Detention Center in Cuba, I don’t believe that, but that is the official story, I’m sorry.”
Malik and Cinque returned to Nice, France. He called Joyce and told what had happened to John, later he called Doctor Lumody and told him to lower the flow of Ibo until he contacted him.
The violence in the street continued as the flow of Ibo slowly diminished. The gangs and drug dealers; whites, blacks, Hispanic and Asians were constantly warring on each other and the shootings and kidnappings increased. They all were trying to get hold to the ever decrease supply of the drug.
That evening the vice president was watching CNN News program where Chris Tolver was doing another report on the Camps.
β€œThe Re-Location Bill seems to have had a temporary effect on violence on our streets. According to a high government source this new drug IBO is sweeping the country and as a result the associated violence is as bad as ever, what’s next, Mr. President?”
Chris continued, β€œThis new street drug Ibo has replaced the other street drugs, heroin, cocaine and even crack are drugs of the past, they cannot be found on the streets, but Ibo is everywhere. Our government with all of its spy stations, informers and technology only knows what the drug is made of, but they don’t have a clue from where it comes from or how it is distributed. The heroin and coke cartels are going out of business. Whoever is running this operation is very smart and very, very rich. From an informed source this reporter has been informed that this insidious drug is much more addictive than any drug that has ever been on the street, besides that it is very, very inexpensive, what do we do now, Mr. President?”
The show ended with the rising crime statistic and black clad police and federal law enforcement officers armed with automatic weapons bringing out a group of handcuffed Hispanic men, it also showed a group of young Black and Hispanic men in green jumpsuits with books under their arms at one of the camps.
The vice president turned off the television, poured himself a stiff drink and went to bed. The nightly nightmares returned; he felt the blows from that time so long ago: he saw his mother smile as she waived in front of the restaurant before she fell with a bullet hole in her body, he woke up sweating, he was going to revenge the death of his parents.
Vice President Warren, Jr. stumbled to the bathroom and sat on the toilet. He swallowed two of his pills, smiled and said aloud, β€œWhen I am the president, I know what’s next Chris, like Hitler I have a final solution for these little assholes, I am not through with them yet.”
