The whole Story

β€œMom can I ride my bike now!” I screamed thru threw the white monitor. β€œ Yes you can.” she said. Then my brain was jumping for joy. I grabbed my bike and got the stern bike to get down stairs. I had know idea the bike would give a gift to me.

It was after school. The sun was up, and it was perfect weather to ride a bike. As I was walking down the concrete stairs of my apartment, my bike was partly in front of me on the side. My bike had rough handlebars, light blue paint, huge 24’’ tires, and it was a cruiser. I just got a new tire for it a few days ago and I was so excited. But the bike would not corroborate while the way down. It would go faster and speed down and the wheels hitting the walls. Luckley the walls' blue, wood shape was not ruined and the bike was not scraped. So after the first set of stairs and half way down from the second floor.I picked it up and then slowly walked down the stairs. It was a very heavy bike but it was the perfect size for me. Once down I put it down and dragged it up the tiny hill to the parking lot. I was a little bit tired but I was determined to ride this bike. β€œ I might have ridden it two years ago,” I thought, β€œbut I know I can ride this bike.” So I got in a spot where I can go straight but I started pedaling a strange noise started and my pedals skip the actual peddling and go straight down, something was wrong with my bike.

I just thought it was my weight was too much for my bike but it wasn’t it was my perfect size, for a fact I could easily ride a smaller bike. I lost control after a bit of riding, so I had to stop the bike. Then I tried again, but it failed. I couldn’t believe it. I thought I was riding a bucking cattle ride at Jump Street. It was impossible to ride it. It was smooth but the skipping was impossible to handle, I thought I was having a bad dream. But it couldn’t be because I got pain when I took it down the stairs. I tried again, and again, and again. But it could never seem to be able to do so. I thought it was the end of the line for my bike, then my friends came out. They started riding their bikes. WITHOUT THE SKIPPING! That just made it the chance of my bike breaking more of a chance. More like a 100% BROKEN. Then I started telling them what was going on and showed them and they agreed. My friend wanted to ride my bike either way and when she did it did the same thing.

I knew it was enough. SoI left, β€œBye guys.” I said. They waved back. It was  impossible to get it up the stairs. It would hit the walls and bang all over the place. BOOM BANG. It did lightley. β€œNo, you will be put upstairs.” I thought. I knew I was still sad but this bike would not work out. Finally, I got half way. I was poofed. But I had to get up the other set of concrete stairs. I looked out the  hole through the wall. Then looked back at the blue wooden wall and the stairs with metal rails. Then I got an idea. I could just carry it. I got my hands on it. The pedals scratched against my bare legs. I finally got the bike up. My brother was down on the parking lot riding his black with green lettered bike with the words saying Rock it. I couldn’t see the words but at least his bike was in good condition. Then I got it through the gray brown door. I yelled , β€œ Chris, my bike pedals are skipping and going right to the bottom.” Then he came out and started pedaling it with his hands. The bike was fluently working. β€œ That is not what it did while I was riding it. He then got on the bike and he tried pedaling. It did it. The bike skipped on him. He quickly put his foot down. He then said the contractor had come off. I was hoping we could just get it fixed. Then my mom came out and she then had a conversation about getting a new one. I asked about us just fixing it. Chris explained it is unfixable. I freaked out in my head. I have literally just got a chance to ride a bike in two or three years and my bike was broken.

My mom then got an idea. She then said to go txt my grandma for a new one and to act all sad and stuff like that. I thought it was a great idea. So I did, I grabbed my phone and texted Iasked her for a new bike and I sent lots of sad and cute animations to get her attention. It worked, weeks later we were going to a parking lot on the other side of the Walmart parking lot. They talked to the other person about the bike while I was in the car with my two brothers. They both were being annoying to each other and which annoyed me. Luckily, my mom was calling me out to try out the bike. At first I just was going to look at it, but I was wrong. The point was to try it out. I was scared to do it on the road. But I conquered my fears quite quickly and was enjoying it. The seat was tiny. It also came with a removable basket and a bell. The bike was white with cute, colorful leaves on it. Then we took it home. My stomach was aching with excitement. I couldn’t wait to ride the next day. But from this experience, I have learned to never leave a bike on the porch for a long time or it will get ruined.
