I would like to address this issue due to the incident that happened a few years ago involving the stabbing in the name of the character "Slenderman." I feel that it is important that my readers are aware that this book is FICTION.The content lore, such as incantations and such, are all driven from multiple cultures and mythology. This work is purely for entertainment.
PrologueIsabella darted her head around, her wrists bloody from rubbing against the metal chains that suspended her in the air. She grit her teeth as she tried, in vain, to pull the chains down. The wooden frame of the shack creaked, but held its form. She looked at the table with bloody tools sprawled across it, each of which used to torture her for the past month she's been held her. The only illumination for the shack were rays of light that came in through the boarded up window.
Isabella gasped as she saw the rays temporarily blocked out by a moving shadow. The sound of keys fitting into a lock came into the shack. The door creaked open as her captors walked in. They smirked at her as she wailed. Each of the five men had a blunt object in their hands. She screamed as the first struck her back with a lead pipe. The ment took turns beating her, over and over again, her screams getting louder.
Suddenly, her body fell limp, hanging by the chains. The men stood in silence for a moment before the oldeest one spoke, "Get 'er down. We gotta burry 'er before she starts stinkin'." The men nodded and unchained her wrists from the ceiling. They carried her into the woods, deeper and deeper. Eventually they came across their usual dumping spot. A large hole piled with bodies of other young girls. They tossed Isabella in without a second thought.
She Just Can't Stay Dead"A mass grave has been discovered in New Dawn, Washington this morning. The grave contains the bodies of nearly one-hundred teenage girls. These girls were abducted weeks apart from each other, all of their missing person cases going cold. The most recent one being Isabella Crane, who disapeared two years ago." The TV went black as Issac tossed the remote on the couch. He shouted to the other room, "Jim get in here!" The buck-toothed curly haired Jim walked in.
"Yea?" He said, looking to Issac.
Issac was packing up the bags, "They found the girls. We gots to move now. Radio Bobby, Mike, and Rat."
Jim dropped his beer, running for his bag, "On it! They really found 'em? No kididn'?"
Issac started pouring gasoline on the floor, "Hell yea they did."
Jim ran outside, Issac behind him, "Shit... you know we're screwed."
Issac lit a match and tossed it on the house, "Just go to your Plan B."
Her eyes reflected the burning cabin perfectly. Her hair was uneven and messy. Her dress was ripped and bloody. Her fingernails were cracked and dirt-ridden. Isabella chuckled as she blinked out of existence, much like the static on a TV.
