I can feel my heart beating faster , I hold my mouth ,my hands were shaking ,I closed my eyes . The silence continued until a slight of noise entered my ears. I crawled out. I was hiding under the bed. What I am hiding from, who is it, I didnโt knew, but that it can harm or kill me .I rushed downstairs to see if Ann was there. T he house screamed in darkness and silence, this was hurting me more. I see no one there, I hurriedly tried to open the gate but it was stuck, I pushed but it made no difference .I started trying all the windows but nothing opened. There was a sudden ring, I started searching for it .It was on the sofa, Ann was calling I picked up. She was in a party she shouted on the phone that she wonโt be coming tonight .I tried to say her but she canโt hear ,I could not shout cause that thing was upstairs .A creepy sound blew in gust through the stairs. I rushed behind the sofa and sat there, trying to hide in the darkness.
As I opened my eyes, there was dim yellow light in the room. I stood up, everything was quite and calm. I went upstairs, everything was still and messed. My eyes rolled as the pages flipped as the wind blew through the window. I kept the candle and the book inside the wooden box and locked it. I started to keep everything in place.
The main door opened, I moved down Ann was there, as soon as she entered she talking about the party, she didnโt seemed tired at all ,she hurriedly asked what was I saying her last night.
I acted casually and said that was nothing. She raised her eyebrows while smiling and said โokayโ. Being an elder sister she cares for me.
Soon I got ready for a new day with my old search. The box was a little heavy I picked it up and kept it inside the car and set out for a new journey. It took me an hour to get out of the town. I stopped my car in front of the old house, it looked the same, decrepit and beautiful .I pressed the switch and the door bell rang. The old lady opened the door with her smile.
While offering me some tea she said โI knew youโre going...โI interrupted โI have the box with me now, tell me where is she? I want to put an end to it as soon as possibleโ I made my voice sturdy. She looked up and with a deep voice she said โI donโt know where she is and I....โ I took a deep breath and said โI am not joking Mrs. Whinslet, You have to say me whatever you know.โ, โBut I...โ she said looking at me. โWill you say where is she? Is she here?โ I said sturdily. She took a breath โShe isnโt here, I saw her last in the car accident I had a couple of years ago. She tried to kill me.โ โBut she is your sister, why will she do that?โI asked randomly โBecause she isnโt my sister.....โ โ, I looked at her with shock and confusion on my face. She then took a sip of the tea. I was looking at the picture of her with her husband on the wall and turned towards her when the cu[p fell of her hand of a sudden
