Grant’s fangs lengthened towards his full bottom lip. I stared at him with wide eyes, not being able to move away at all. He instantly turned into a terrifying beauty of a man. The only thing that didn’t change was the long, jagged scar running from Grant’s forehead to his chin on the left side of his face.
The red highlights in his hair faded away, and the blonde lightened to an almost white. His usually calm green eyes turned stormy and turbulent. Grant was already six foot one, but somehow, he seemed even taller.
His rough hands grabbed my arms as if he was afraid I was going to fall or something, his unfamiliar gazing at me with what looked to be anxiety. “Bree, are you okay? I know this is a little much to take in…”
I reached up and stroked his face, my fingers tracing the scar. He made a low noise as I did. “I’m fine,” I whispered, leaning as closer as I could to him.
