Odd One by Erin Clerity (top 50 books to read .TXT) 📕

I've always had this ability, when I touch people they get hurt or worse killed. My parents don't let me go out alone to public places, except for school. My mom is mostly overprotective of me. But everybody thinks I'm a freak at high school, I'm a senior at Central Valley High School in Spokane, WA. I'm kind of used to be alone I guess, but when my parents are dead asleep I sneak out and goto the skate parkevery night. On Wensday night I was skate to the skate park and one of the guys in my U.S. History class was also out late skating. I freaked out stopped picked up my skateboard and ran. He didn't run after me which is good thing. I walked home but on the way there, some guys stopped me. They surrounded me "What are you doing out here in the middle of the night little girl? And why are you were gloves?" He took them off of me.
"No!" the man went to grab me but i touched him and he was dead. The other two guys ran. I grabbed my gloves and skateboard and ran home.
I was crying silently in my arms while curled up in a little ball. I was hoping that this night didn't happen.
