Everlasting Joy

Dear Wella, Criselle, and Nadine,

I like to thank you for being my friends. I hope you'll like this letter.

Do you still remember the time when we first met? Well, I do.

It all happened on the summer in June. The sun was shining above the light blue skies. We felt the intense heat of the sun in our skins. There were no signs of wind anywhere. As I entered the door of our classroom, I was happily welcomed by the three of you.

We started talking mostly about anything we liked to talk about. Wella was always full of joy. Nadine was full of high spirits, and loved to talk a lot with me which made me happy. Criselle was also there having fun with the four of us.

The four of us talked everywhere we go which I will never forget.

Wella’s words are unforgotten, β€œYou know even if we just met. It’s like the middle of the school year. I know that we will be friends until the end of the school year.”

Nadine already planned what were going to do for the whole school year.

β€œLet’s make a story for our friendship. All of us are the writers.”

I like your plan Nadine so I agreed, β€œYeah that’s a good idea.”

Wella and Criselle also want her plan. The four of us think about what to write in our story. We weren't able to start the story yet. Now, I wrote a letter about the four of us.

The next day Nadine planned that we will join the choir club. She is a great planner.

The next months we planned to go at the malls. I was sad that Nadine wasn’t able to go with us. We went shopping which was really fun.

The three of us bought the same shirt but each with different colors. Wella also bought Nadine the same shirt. Wella planned that were going to wear that shirt on a day we were going to see each other again.

Then we went skating. I remember when Wella and Criselle taught me how to skate.

I fell down on the floor and both of you are there for me as a friend.

"That also happened to me." Wella said.

"That happened to everyone when they first skate.” Criselle told me.

They held my hand so that I won't fell on the skating ground. After that, we ate and had a great time talking with each other.

Then, I went to the birthday party of Wella with Criselle and Wella’s other friends.

Everyone had a great time and I hope you like my gift Wella.

Wella and Criselle always made me feel welcomed which was very nice of them.

We took pictures with different poses. It was a very fun day!

I also went to Criselle’s birthday with Wella and Nadine. I am happy Nadine was there too.

We went to the rides and I was so scared that I screamed.
I recall on the water ride Nadine and I was shaking in great fear and we held each other's hand firmly.

The climax on the ride came and I know all the people in that place heard our screams.

Wella and Criselle heard it too and both of them didn't screamed at all. After the rides, Nadine and I talked about the rides.

She said that she was scared too.

It was a really enjoying day because we were complete...the four of us with each other agian.

It was so nice of Criselle to pay for all of our rides. I bought her a gift and I hope you like it Criselle.

These are simple moments, but precious because it can only happen once, you couldn't go back to those times, even if it's just the first day of classes I already felt I had a place in the class because of those people who were true and sincere... the kind of friends to treasure my whole life.

Whatever happens you'll always be my true friends and nothing can change it. The everlasting joy we had on those days even if it's just for a short time. I will always treasure it... always.

Forget me not...

Your Friend,
     Valerie
