โ€œLove is not my favourite solace. You know that! Iโ€™m too busy for something as time-consuming and pretty as love. Have you ever seen me wear finery? Have you seen me seduce a man? Well , I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll ever be able to do that in my life!โ€ said Flora, a blonde haired girl with stony-grey eyes.
โ€œWhy, arenโ€™t you too harsh on yourself and and love itself?Love is not something you seek. It comes naturally in oneโ€™s life. It just comesโ€ฆyou knowโ€ฆfrom somewhere deep withinโ€ said Floraโ€™s friend Genelia, a bright-eyed, flighty little woman, who never had her brain in one place.
โ€œI donโ€™t know. I think itโ€™s a kind of distraction from what Iโ€™m doing . I donโ€™t want to fall in love and forget my steps on stage. Iโ€™m sure Iโ€™d do that if I ever fell in love. Iโ€™m pretty darn sure.โ€ replied Flora.
โ€œCโ€™mon Flora, do you think people that fall in love are crazy? Iโ€™m in love with Carmen. I think he is the most charming man that ever lived on earthโ€ retorted Genelia.
โ€œWell, thatโ€™s your choice. You want to fall in love. Youโ€™re open to it. Iโ€™m not.โ€ said Flora, the amateur ballet dancer, indignantly.
โ€œYouโ€™ll soon have to open up , girl. Youโ€™re romancing your male ballet partner all the time, and whoโ€™d imagine youโ€™d play the coquette in this one.โ€ Laughed Genelia.
โ€œShut up , will you?โ€ cried Flora, throwing a pom pom at Genelia.
