said sensually. “I can do things with my mouth that will make your head spin.”

“You already have,” I smirked. “The more you talk, the more my head spins like its ready to fly off my neck.”

Sadys didn’t break her seductive smile. “I know one way you can silence my tongue.” She ran hers seductively around her swollen lips. On her, the effect was mesmerizingly erotic. With her kneeling and her mouth inches from my crotch, her offer was hard to resist. Damn hard. Her eyes dropped to the contours of my growing desire. It strained inside my uniform. She teased, “Your manhood betrays your true desires, my king…”

I grunted in frustration.

My scepter was dying to indulge in an off-the-record blowjob at the very least. Scepter argued a blowjob wouldn’t make Sadys my first. Oia said. Didn’t matter what Theia had done to soothe Scepter’s needs in the shower an hour ago. Scepter was backed up badly and ready to rock the socks off Sadys and every other wet and willing guardswoman at this outpost. Scepter was up, up, up for every single woman here.

Starting with the closest one who was ready to come.

Colonel Sadys.

No, I couldn’t go there. If I did, I might not be able to stop with oral sex. Sadys was nearly too hot to resist. I did my best to focus on how annoyingly deceitful and treacherous she was, or how she had ordered the Bombshells beaten the night we got here. Those horrid thoughts clawed at my memory while I considered a variety of witty retorts to her previous comment, the one that ended with her running her tongue suggestively around her tight, wet lips.

A suitable retort occurred a half second later.

I said, “I know how I can silence your tongue, Colonel. Let me get some scissors.”

Sadys’ smile faltered and she sucked her tongue back in her mouth, but she did her best to resume her ever-charming smarmy smirk. “You don’t know what you’re missing, my king.”

“Sleep. That’s what I’m missing. Sleep. By myself.” I wanted to add, in a cold empty bed that will be warmer company than you ever will, Colonel. Not wanting to agitate the frigid waters in which poor Corporal Syx would still have to tread long after I was gone — the waters controlled by Sadys — I didn’t say it.

I said sternly, “Good night, Colonel.”

And with that, I turned and walked toward the hatch leading into the Bombshells’ recovery room. It had been left open per my orders, in case Hydra got any bright ideas about holding the Bombshells hostage or gassing them while I was gone.

I walked quietly inside, but my thoughts were still on Sadys’ behavior. Was this what governing was about? Clashing and bickering with snakes like her? If that was the case, I was ready for a permanent vacation. No wonder so many US Presidents spent so much time on the golf course during their presidency. It was either that or sleeping with your staffers to blow off steam, which was never a good look politically.

Oh, wait.

Here on Zalaxia, it was assumed I would sleep with every staffer. Frequently. Sucks to be a US President. Too bad I wouldn’t be acting King of Harem Planet after tomorrow.

—LEAVE ZALAXIA IMMEDIATELY OR DIE!—

What a fricking predicament.

Leave Zalaxia and live a humdrum life or stay and die tomorrow?

Neither option worked for me, if I was being honest.

But not dying was definitely my preference.

The only thing left to do now was break the bad news to the Bombshells, and possibly break my promise to Oia. No, I couldn’t do that. Could I? Then again, would it really matter who I made my first if I left for Earth tomorrow night? To Oia it would. She’d probably hate me for it, which would be for the best if I abandoned her. But no one else would hate me for making someone else my first — other than the Bombshells. My alternate “first” certainly wouldn’t hate me, whoever she might be. She’d be thrilled. Question was, would I? At first, yes. After? No. I’d feel like an asshole.

No matter what path forward I chose, I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be happy with the end result.

All good things…

You know the rest.

If you don’t, it’s: “…must come in the end.”

I mean, come to.

Not come in.

Come to.

Sorry.

Freudian slip.

—: Chapter 123 :—

The Bombshells’ recovery room was dark. It was still early, not yet sunrise. Oia, Venus, Cygna, and Sirius were asleep in their beds, Their healing reconstruction masks were off, allowing their faces to rest.

They were breathing evenly in the shadows.

I pulled the privacy curtain in front of the hatchway to dampen the sounds from the corridor. I needed to say my goodbyes, but I was reluctant to wake the Bombshells just yet. I’d give them a few more minutes before I started making noises. Maybe they would sense my presence and wake up on their own.

I tiptoed over to sit in the hexagonal chair between the beds of Oia and Venus. I carefully lowered myself, doing my best to avoid any creaking of the chair as my butt settled onto the seat.

Tick-tick-tick!

I winced at the sound.

So much for trying.

“Tim?” Oia whispered. Blankets rustled as she turned toward me, her face still hidden in shadow. It was too dark to see her features. Garish nightmare images of her melted mutant demon face swam up from the dark depths of my imagination, chased by my shame.

“Sorry,” I said in a strangled whisper. “Didn’t mean to wake you.”

“It’s okay. I wasn’t asleep,” Oia said, her pronounced lisp now gone and sounding much like the woman I had first met. “I heard everyone coming in earlier. Did something happen? Where were you?”

Did I tell her I’d gone out looking for Violet, gotten my ass kicked twice, and ordered by a dragon god to leave Zalaxia on pain of death? He had kept calling me mortal, so it might be safe to assume he was immortal. And should
