threw the glass where he was, while the Pharaoh returned to his duties.

The Chaos Agents

The hangar inside the mountain was extremely disorganized, with ships of various types landed without pattern. On the ceiling was a large banner written "Chaos Agents" and the symbol of the two asymmetric circles. What surprised Evelin was the number of people who worked in the machinery or weapons, in addition to those who had just returned from the mission.

β€œHow many people do you have in your group?” Asked the young woman to Sorom.

β€œI think the last account gave more than four hundred.” Answered the leader of the chaotic.

It was a large number, however far less than there was at the Laserfield base, let alone all the military of Gardenia.

β€œAre they all chaotic?”

β€œNot all. Some people with regular destinations have joined us, like family members and people who just knows what's right.”

She looked dubious at her new leader.

β€œAnd you know what's right?”

β€œknow that a system that arbitrarily decides who is on the margins of society is wrong.”

β€œAnd how do you intend to kill God with four hundred agents?”

β€œI will not tell my detailed plans to guardian Simeht's daughter. If you want to know things, we're going to have to create a trust connection. Now be quiet and listen. This is where we prepare our ships and armaments. Things tend to blow up here, especially near an Inga.”

β€œInga?”

Sorom pointed to a young man who hugged Willys in the distance. The young man looked like a younger, with all the members, hairy version of Willys.

β€œThat is Ratz Inga,” Sorom said. β€œWillys' brother. All Ingas are born with chaos as a destination and they all have a passion for explosives.”

This Ratz approached with an angry expression while Willys tried to hold him.

β€œSo, you not only didn’t take me to the mission,” Ratz start to complain to Sorom β€œYou also bring a military woman here? And the daughter of guardian's Simeht, for crying out loud!” He then turned to Evelin with a friendly smile and reached out. β€œRatz Inga, by the way, a pleasure to meet you.”

Evelin reached back faltering and the two greeted each other, until Ratz turned angry to Sorom again.

β€œAre you crazy?”

β€œI needed people taking over the base and you are one of my best.” Sorom replied.

β€œYeah, right…”

β€œLet's go Ratz,” said Willys picking him up with his mechanical arm. "There's no need to create intrigue for that.”

Sorom approached Ratz looking at his eyes.

β€œI created all this; this is my revolution. If the mission had gone wrong, I'd still have you here to continue it. If you don't like how I act, you can return to your CCC.”

Ratz shut up and Willys pulled him away with a yellow smile.

β€œYour group is very passionate,” said Evelin.

β€œThey're all crazy. The perfect people for that kind of work. Now come on, I'll show you the rooms.”

They began to walk between ships, most of which seemed to be of civilian use. She noticed some of the military that they had just stolen from Laserfield's base and wondered what else they would have taken, but a bigger question took their mind.

β€œAm I going to suffer some trouble for being daughter of a guardian?”

β€œNo more than the chaotic suffer day after day.” Sorom noticed that this was not the answer she wanted β€œRelax, no one will touch you.”

Coming out of the large open space of the hangar they went to tighter metal corridors. Several doors came out of these corridors in rooms with makeshift beds.

β€œThis whole place has been reused,” Sorom explained, β€œso it can be a little confusing. The hangar is the common point that leads to all areas of the base, so you must go there whenever you want to go to another area.”

He made it to the room where three people were meeting. Evelin recognized them from the battle against guardian Kylex. The big woman with a machine gun in her arm, the man with the sand-colored skin carrying swords and the lower man with one mechanic eye.

β€œTug,” Sorom said to the woman, β€œI'm going to leave this one with you, okay?”

The woman approached taking the machine gun from her arm and replacing with mechanical prosthesis in the shape of a hand. She barely examined Evelin and smiled.

β€œI'm Tugsten, but everyone calls me Tug. The second strongest of the chaotic!”

β€œHi...” Said Evelin insecure β€œWhat a random fact to present yourself.”

β€œI am Jamin,” said the man with swords. β€œIt's a pleasure to meet you.”

β€œThey call me Sliger.” Spoke the last one cleaning his revolver.

β€œI am Evelin.”

β€œWe know who you are,” Jamin said, β€œwe are very happy to have joined our cause.”

Evelin did not expect them to already have this information and she concluded that the news ran fast for the Chaos Agents.

β€œI'm still not sure what I'm doing,” Evelin said.

β€œIf you're here, you're on the right track,” Tug continued. β€œWe are very happy whenever a non-chaotic join the Agents. I'll get you a mattress.”

β€œAlso get some clothes,” said Sorom. β€œShe didn't have time to pack.”

The woman agreed and left the room, leaving the other two roommates tidying up the room.

β€œNow let's go, Evelin; I have more to show you.”

The two followed the corridor back to the hangar, where Sorom showed off the kitchen, which was much cleaner than Evelin expected.

β€œThe people here are different from what I imagined,” Evelin said.

β€œI don't blame you. Most of the media and the government paint us as monsters. You'll see we're people like any other. There's a lot of bad people here too, like everywhere in the world.”

At this time, a woman, accompanied by Norna, stopped Sorom. In her early forties, she had black skin with curly hair and was wearing a beret and overalls.

β€œSorom,” the woman called, β€œI don't want to give bad news, but even with today's pieces we don't have enough to finish Ringnug.”

Evelin heard the woman's words curiously until Sorom interceded.

β€œLet's not talk about our secret weapon in front of the recruit, okay?” Suggested Sorom. β€œThis is Dice, our engineer.
