The leader was happy, however, noticed an expression of annoyance in the girl.
โWhat is it?โ Asked Sorom.
โI've been saving the bad news.โ
โWhich one?โ Asked Sorom remembering something โKurtrick! He's going to want the Guardianโs technology!โ
โNo, no,โ Evelin said casually, โI arrested him and ended his entire trafficking scheme.โ
โWow, you surprised me. I thought you were a woman of your word.โ
โI am, but I will not give as much power to a criminal.โ Sorom noticed her expression getting worse. โThe bad news is that you will be arrested.โ
Sorom faced her confused.
โBut the Chaos Agents are free and working with the Defenders of Harmony.โ
โYes... because we decided that all crimes committed by them would be paid by you. The agents and you did a lot of wrong things and killed a lot of people. Just so you know, the prison they're going to send you isn't bad.โ
โThat's great,โ he said ironically, but then calmed down. โThat really is great, I fulfilled my goal I don't mind paying for the crimes, especially if it means that others can walk free.โ
At this point, the transmitter on Evelin's sleeve rang and an energetic male voice that Sorom didnโt knew came out of it.
โEve, would you like to have lunch with me? I was thinking about walking a little later, after all I need to enjoy now that you've fixed my legs.โ
Evelin approached Sorom by kissing his forehead and dropping a communicator on his bed.
โI have to go,โ Evelin said, and then she started whispering. โNorna and Willys are willing to get you out of here. If you want to escape, just use this communicator, but know that they are doing a great job as Defenders of Harmony and would be terrible losses for us.โ
The girl answered the radio and left the room, leaving Sorom with the communicator in hand. He smiled looking out the window thinking that fate was in his hands.
