gun even more.

โ€œYou came with Rinna's group, didn't you? Are you a spy? You work for Tess?โ€

โ€œI have no idea what you're talking about,โ€ said the girl. โ€œI thought when I got here, I'd understand something, but you.... You don't even know!โ€

Sorom did not make sudden movements and looked out of the bathroom for help, but all the other agents were at the party.

โ€œDon't you work for the government then? Let's talk about it. Sorry, I really don't know who you are.โ€ Sorom said quietly.

โ€œYou killed my brother! He was just a kid!โ€

Sorom scoured his entire memory to find out who she was talking about and finally understood.

โ€œYou are the sister of the chosen one,โ€ Sorom said. โ€œAnd you're here to get revenge.โ€

โ€œHe was a child! How could you do that?โ€

Sorom took a deep breath and looked at the girl.

โ€œHe was a problem. My biggest problem possibly. It was nothing personal and I didn't take pleasure in doing that... How did you get in with Rinna's group?โ€

โ€œWhen you made your big speech, I started chasing you. I met some really nice people on Iguana Street and convinced them I was on your side when Rinna showed up.โ€

โ€œCongratulations,โ€ said Sorom. โ€œYou've achieved more in a few weeks than the entire government in years.โ€

โ€œShut up! I came to kill you!โ€

โ€œIf this were your goal, you would have already done,โ€ Sorom tried to manipulate the situation. โ€œYou're hesitant, you don't want to kill anyone. If you do that, you know you won't have...โ€

Three shots were fired, he saw his blood dripping with holes in his chest and abdomen. He heard something from a distance, but his senses were leaving. The last thing you saw was the desperate eyes of the girl in front of you.

...

The light upset him when he opened his eyes, he wasn't understanding his surroundings, and everything seemed blurry. He felt a pain when Norna hugged him tightly as he woke up.

โ€œWhat happened?โ€ Asked Sorom stunned.

โ€œYou were shot.โ€  Said Dijo and now Sorom could see that the room full of people.

โ€œI should have recognized her,โ€ said Evelin upset. โ€œYana MacCoy, Aiden's sister.โ€

At this point, Sorom rose, feeling a lot of pain in his abdomen.

โ€œWhat day is it today?โ€

โ€œThere are still five days left,โ€ Willys said. โ€œAnd you'll be very happy to know that the bombs are ready!โ€

Norna punched Willys' arm, which ended up causing her pain.

โ€œLet's not talk about it now. Sorom was shot three times. Good thing that girl doesnโ€™t know how to shoot properly, or you'd be lost.โ€

Sorom remained alert, even with his companions trying to get him to lie down.

โ€œWe have to prepare. Five days is not long.โ€ Said the leader.

โ€œDo you think you will participate in this condition?โ€ Asked Norna. โ€œThere's no way!โ€

โ€œBut of course, I will! I didn't get this far to stop now!โ€

โ€œYour injuries are very recent,โ€ Evelin said, โ€œIt wouldn't be wise for you to go.โ€

โ€œBut I'm going to go and end the conversation. I'm the leader. It's the last mission, if I die on it, that's fine, but I'm not going to be left behind.โ€

A new voice has emerged.

โ€œI agree with him.โ€

Sorom looked and saw Ratz standing. His skin was full of burning scars, but the man tried to look the best he could.

โ€œWhen did you wake up?โ€ Asked Sorom happy.

โ€œThe day after you came in here,โ€ Dijo replied, โ€œand it's not good for you to go. You Ingas have suicidal wishes, look at your states!โ€

The two brothers looked at each other and shrugged, noting anything exceptional.

โ€œRatz goes and so am I,โ€ Sorom replied to Ratz's joy. โ€œEverything is at stake; we need all the power we have.โ€

The others wanted to argue, but Sorom wouldn't allow it.

โ€œWhat did you do to the girl?โ€ Asked the leader.

โ€œShe is locked.โ€ Norna said. โ€œSome of the agents said we should execute her, but I stopped they.โ€

โ€œRight... I'll talk to her before the mission. What's missing?โ€

The agents looked at each other thinking and Dijo responded.

โ€œNothing, everything we needed is ready.โ€

Sorom sighed relieved.

โ€œIt would be nice to attack before the last day, but I think I really need to recover a little. Tell everyone, in five days we'll attack.โ€

The group dispersed and only Evelin stood next to Sorom in the makeshift bed.

โ€œI know you're hurt, and you probably don't want to hear this, but I need to talk to you.โ€

โ€œI already know what,โ€ said Sorom tired. โ€œI promise I won't kill your father. I may have to hurt him badly, but he's going to stay alive.โ€

โ€œI'm serious! I don't want anything to happen to him. He will be able to help a lot when the world is in chaos after we destroy people's fate.โ€

Sorom made a face of disgust.

โ€œHelp from a Guardian of the Order?โ€

โ€œDo you have any idea what the world is going to look like after you kill God?โ€ Asked Evelin. โ€œWe're going to need a lot of help, so society doesn't collapse.โ€

โ€œI do not care much about society, the nature of people will remain the same, but they will have freedom and go their own way.โ€

โ€œThat is not the point! My father stays alive!โ€

Sorom looked very seriously at his companion.

โ€œHe will. Trust me. Besides, you're going to be on my side the whole mission, I know you're going to convince your father not to kill me. I'm the one who's going to be in danger there.โ€

Evelin just nodded and prepared to leave.

โ€œHeal yourself. We can't have a weak leader on the final mission.โ€

Godโ€™s Air Temple

Sorom was in his van, with Yana handcuffed.

โ€œListen, you have every right to want to kill me,โ€ Sorom said, โ€œwhich doesn't mean I'm just going to accept to die. These handcuffs will open with a timer. When you're free, you can take the van and run anywhere. Failing or winning, I do not intend to go back to this place so there's no point in waiting for me.โ€

โ€œYou think you're a hero, but you're actually a villain.โ€ Yana said.

โ€œI am neither. I'm a necessary evil and I'll be
