you agree?”

“Oh yeah, that’s for sure,” I said sarcastically.

Not detecting my sarcasm she continued, “There’s just no better feeling than to have that guy mounted on top of you, and for those few minutes you’re the center of his universe and you’re providing him with the greatest pleasure a man can have.  And, finally, he explodes and collapses on top of you, and you know that it was because of you that he is satisfied, and the feeling that you were able to do that for him warms you from head to toe.”

The way that she talked about sex actually kind of surprised me as I’d always been under the impression that women did not talk about intercourse, well, not like that anyway.

We sat there silently for a moment and she said, “Maybe that sounds silly?  Crazy?  Anyway, that’s my experience.”

“I don’t think that’s silly at all.”

After a few moments she said, “Dana, if he asks you out then go if you want.”

“Really?”

She nodded, “Sure, you are I are friends no matter what.  If he’s not asked me out after all this time then he’s clearly not interested in me, and I don’t want someone that does not want me.”

I gave her a hug and said, “You’re a great friend.”

“So are you, and the fact that you noticed how I felt and then you asked me means everything.”

“Are you sure you don’t want something to drink?”

Standing up she said, “No, I’ve got to get going, I’ve got to pick up some supplies for the restaurant before dinner and if I’m not back soon dad will be calling asking where I am.”

I walked her to the front door and as she exited I said, “Text me later and maybe we can hang out.”

“Okay I will, if I can get away from the restaurant.  See ya.”

“Bye,” and I closed the door.

Walking back into the kitchen I reflected on my conversation with Annabelle.  She and I were apparently not going to be lovers, well, not unless I got her liquored up, right?  Anyway, I was making progress as a woman and I now had a girlfriend, just like all girls do.  So, I now had someone to giggle about boys with, go shopping with, and all the things females like to do together.  Despite the fact that I’d just lost my beautiful potential lover, I had found out that Cole was interested in asking me out.  Normally that would not have been something that would have been of interest to me, but changes were going on inside me that I could not explain.  For some reason the prospect of us going on a date was growing on me exponentially and the idea of having dinner with him, or whatever, was actually kind of exciting.  All I needed to do was remain calm and wait and see if he would follow through.

Chapter 14

About two hours had passed since Annabelle had left and I was growing a bit bored and decided I would get outside and enjoy the sunny weather as well as the swimming pool, which I hadn’t had the chance to use with all the craziness in my life.  Heading upstairs I got undressed, threw my clothes on the bed and put on my new orange bikini for the first time.  Standing there in the mirror looking at myself in my skimpy swimsuit I could not help but notice what a great figure I had been blessed with as my breasts were firm and my curvy rear filled out my bottoms nicely.

Grabbing my beach towel, shades and some sunscreen I walked to the kitchen making a stop at the refrigerator to get something to drink and then headed on outside.  Putting everything on the table I put on some sunscreen and then got in the water and did some swimming.  After a bit I climbed out, reapplied the SPF 50, put my shades on and kicked back in a lounge chair to take in a few rays.  After a short time, I hear a male voice which was totally unexpected.

Looking around to my right I saw Cole standing there looking at me who said, “I’m sorry. I hope I didn’t startle you.”

Standing up I took my shades off and said, “No, I’m okay.”

“I rang the doorbell, and no one answered so I thought I would come around the back and see if maybe you just didn’t hear the bell because you were out at the pool.  I definitely did not mean to intrude or seem like some sort of a creep.”

I laughed and said, “Don’t worry about it Cole, I don’t think you would ever fall into the creep category.”

“Thanks, I appreciate that.”

“So, what brings you to my lair,” I said and then we both chuckled.

“Oh,” he said as he removed his hand from behind his back.  “I just wanted to say thank you for helping me out this morning,” and he presented me with a dozen pink roses.

Handing them to me, I said, “Thank you so much, but you didn’t have to do that.”

Nodding he said, “I know, but I wanted to.”

Standing there looking at him I was really taken with his thoughtfulness and for a moment I thought I was going to get a little misty.  I could tell that he did like me as the signs were obvious, and the part that I could no longer deny was that, well, I liked him too, which was unsettling.

Stepping over to him I had this urge that overtook me and I kissed him on the cheek and said, “Thank you Cole.”

With my dozen roses in hand I said, “Let me put these in the house and I’ll be right back.  Oh, would you like me to bring you something to drink?”

“Got a beer?”

“I think so.”

After putting the flowers on the kitchen counter, I returned to the pool with a beer and handed it to him and said, “I don’t think it’s a high end brand, but it’s a beer.”

Taking it
