“Yes,My dear Ms Benton. I’m sorry I threw your reports away. Let me getthat for you. But it’s so much better to have you than your typingnotes! I think if I saw another hand-written notification from yourhands I would go crazy!”

“Allthe time and even when I didn’t, your elegant handwriting notesalways reminded me how close and yet how far you were from me. Ikept asking you to rewrite reports so I could spend time withyou.”

Andall that time she had thought of him demanding and tyrannical whenhe was just trying to find excuses to be with her.

“Soshould I write you my notice or should I type it?” she askedteasing.

“Neither! I demand that you stayed at my service. How about youuse your beautiful fingers to google the nicest restaurant in town?I think I have an extraordinary meeting to attend rightnow.”

“Itisn’t in your calendar!” she said looking automatically in hernotes.

“Ofcourse, it isn’t! Our first date is not in my agenda yet. Has itjust turned up in yours?”

Shelaughed.

“Ibelieve it has,” she said updating quickly both theircalendars.

He stood behindher chair while she worked away. He started kissing herneck.

“Soeverything is in order then?”

She muffled agroan.

“Nowit is!” she said turning to him at last and kissing him inreturn.
